How many outfits in one day?

My son will be 6 months old this week. Usually he stays in one outfit a day. Bibs are a different story. But there are some days where he goes through 2-3 outfits. On really warm days lately I have been known to leave him in his diaper, I guess most parents do that. When my daughter was this age, she preferred it.

My kids have always preferred wearing as little clothing as possible. My 2 1/2 year old still would rather run around in her underwear. At your son's age I would strip them down at meal time just to make clean up a little bit easier.

I've always been the type of mom that wouldn't change their outfit until they NEEDED it changed. Unless they were wearing something totally uncomfortable, I'd put them to bed in the outfit they wore all day. I didn't see the big deal. I'd change it if we left the house, or when it became messy. Typically that did boil down to once a day, except on the rare occasions where they'd have more spit up than usual, or messier diapers than usual.

Yeah,it is just to hot for clothes sometimes. My nephew hated clothes when he was a baby he would get fussy if you tried to put clothes on him when he was 6 months and he would pull at them and fuss till they were taken off then he was a happy baby again..lol

I used to go through a few outfits per day when my daughter was little also. It all depended on if she spit up or got her clothes dirty with eating etc. I always tried to keep her clean too. Some days were better than others.

Hello ersmommy. My wife takes good care of my baby. It is the same that my baby son usually wears one outfit unless something unexpected happens. You know what as a mother of such a small baby, hehehe. So I think that it is very natural for a baby to have to wear more one outfit a day sometimes. Happy parenting, dear ersmommy.

Sounds like my daughter when she was that age. She felt that clothes and shoes were not made for in the house lol. If I dressed her, and didn't immediately take her out of the house, she would find a way to tug out of her clothes, and if she didn't, she was fussy until I took her out of everything but her onesie.
