The Internet is filled with wonderful pictures which appear to be free for all to see, and use? We get paid for the photographs we include to enhance our Posts. I'm wondering how many myLotters Post pictures obtained from Google Images, or from Flickr. I've been using these pictures in my Posts since I joined myLot, 3 years ago, and have seldom given it a thought. Has anyone been given a hard time about the use of internet pictures? If you have, what action did you take? If not, why are restricted photos posted on the internet as if they were free for anyone to use? Who does this and why?

I use pictures sometimes myself from the internet, and never have had a problem. Once a person post a picture it not really their own anymore, so they should expect that someone will take it and repost it, maybe many times over.

After I made this post I contacted a person on Flickr, asking if I could use a photo. This person told me via email, that I was welcome to use the photo as long as I linked it to her Flickr account.
