Using tasks to get referrals?

Posting referral links in discussions , as we all know, is against the guidelines here. But what about creating tasks that promote affiliate money making sites?
I was just curious about tasks and I went to look to see what was available. The only one available was a referral to neobux. Is that allowed? I didnt accept the task because A) I am not going to sign up there just to get a measley dime here and B) I am not sure its within guidelines for that person to do that.
What do you all think?
Should people be allowed to create tasks for the sole purpose of getting referrals to another money making site?

As per usual, there's confusion as to what's right and what isn't when it comes to guidelines. 
I'd consider this to be direct marketing on one hand, so therefore against the terms here; but on the other hand, these tasks are being placed for people to come to THEM and it's not being forced on anyone, so from that angle, is it really direct marketing? Either way, I sure as heck won't be going near any of those tasks.

you could say the same about discussions
no one is forcing a discussion on you
people come to them
yeah they need to make the rules a little clearer

Wow, now mylotters are being creative in using the "tasks" system.
I'm thinking I'll create a task for you to find me an active referral here in mylot. That would be fun.
And for the reward maybe I'll give you $10 if you can prove the referral will be active in ten months. hehe. Crazy right?

not problem at all in this actually we r doing add of mylot..everybody on net knows that mylot is one of the site where we can search a lot of paying sites..and if we post any task related to other site it is indirectly add of mylot so how it can be against guideline..no worry

we are not allowed to post referral links in discussions as it is spam
spamming is not allowed in the tasks either so should referral links be allowed in tasks?

I saw that tasks too. There's currently another similar task for the same website by another member here, and it seems that people are taking up the tasks.
I will say that if these 2 tasks are posted successfully up on the task section, it had to mean that the myLot admin had approved them, right... I don't agree on it though...

Is there a way that we can report a task?
my guess is no because that is how admin moderates this place
they dont actually READ anything they just wait for something to get reported and then they just delete it

Hi,
I did not know referral link allow to be part of the task. But, if this task have been posting successfuly, i think its mean allowed by admin. The logical reason is every task uploaded here must be approved by admin with their rules and guidelines for the task creator. So, its mean no problem at all.

I'm pretty sure they have to pay myLot for the tasks, so it's probably allowed in Tasks. But like you said, dumb to join that site for .10.
That's a site they couldn't pay me enough to join. But there will be people who will do it...
