How do you get a 3 year old to take a nap.

My 3 year old granddaughter has been fighting naps really bad lately. I had probs with my own kids but not this bad. She has gone almost a week without naps and come 6:00 at night she is sooooo cranky. Does anyone have any unique ideas on how to get this precious girl to take her much needed naps?

Well when my kids were little at 3 years old they really did not take naps much but I will give you a tip that I used to get them to sleep. I know with the gas prices this might not be a great idea but I use to take them on car rides and that was how I got them to take naps. It always worked for me not sure why but it always did. It might work so I would give it a try. Take care and I hope this helps happy mylotting as well.
