What should US do regarding Iranian strife?

1. Nothing... it is their matter. 2. Support regime change... quietly. 3. Support regime change... actively (like Voice of America, statements, more sanctions. 4. Your ideas...

One of the many reasons why Iran hates the United States is because we stuck our nose in their business covertly in the past. Even if we hadn't...it's their country and we have no business getting involved. We are not the police officers of the world.

I'm leaning toward number 2. If every nation has a right to pursue their own best interest, then the US has to pursue regime change in Iran eventually. What's more, the US has most of the world's countries on the same side here. Pursuing agressive action, however, would seem to indicate that it is okay to directly meddle in another country's affairs and I'm sure noone would want the US on the receiving end of such manipulation. This makes a quiet, international support for regime change the best option for right now.

I vote for #1. We have no business sticking our nose into their affairs. That's what causes all the trouble we have with many countries in the world.
