Rumor Has It That Ciao is Shutting Down

I saw this on ciao last night, someone said they got an email about it, though I can't find anywhere on the site stating this fact. Has anyone else heard about this? I for one cashed in last night as I'm not about to lose the money I earned. I would like to thank all the spammers, fakes, copycats, mutipal account users, and clicking cartels, not to mention all the very poor writers trying to make a quick buck on ciao. They have ruined the site for the real people that were trying to write real and imformative reviews. I hope they are happy now. We will now have to worry about them moving onto other decent writing sites and invading them just like a virus.

Hi, if you are ciao member, I'm wondering why you haven't got email notifier? Ciao has sent emails to all his members announcing the change of being integrated into new search engine, Bing. The new site , called Bing cashback program, will open to public on July 1. That's a change of domain, not shutting-down as you think. Just check your email and you can get more information.

I did not get an email, I saw it on one of my friends wall and that is how I found out. I don't know about this bing site yet, but I found another social networking site that pays you to do everything u would do like on myspace etc. So if u are interested Pm me and I will send you the link, so you join. The site is payable through paypal.

yea they sent us an email-they're merging with bing in july and shutting down the user part of ciao, more or less. that's what i was thinking, the people that were cheating will just hop to somewhere else and ruin that too.i sure won't miss the people that had the b*lls to demand you drop everything right now and read their reviews though.

Yes alas it's true that Ciao is ending as of July 1st--I'm in the process of copying my reviews there...can always post them at associated content for page views...hate to see all that work I did their go to hell. Yes, I've gotten to know a lot of genuinely great writers there and friends, and it's true the cheaters ruined it. But Ciao had a stupid system. they should have done what other writing sites do, that is when you submit something it's reviewed, like at Associated Content before it's published--that would have stopped cheaters in their tracks

So true pye, if it was only like Associated and epinions it would have made a world of difference. I have to copy my reviews soon before I lose them. I did find a new site that pays, it is like myspace, except they pay you to do all kinds of stuff, it's not that site , can't think of the name of it. Oh ya know I remember it's not yuwie.

Ciao will be in Bing.com, so it will no longer exist as an independent review site but partner to this shopping site. They are now processing last payment for existing members. I received my last payment yesterday.

I cashed in as soon as I heard, as I was not taking any chances. Sure will miss ciao, but not the BS over there.
