I have seen some sites simply ban you without giving any warning or whatsoever. There will be different types of users are there out there. Some may voilate rules with out knowledge or by mistake. A good site should warn them specifically indicating where they go wrong. But these sites behave like dictators and they never listen to the users. They simply ban them with out notice and will not enetretain anything from the banned member. Even a murderer is given a chance to explain his stand in the court, but here they don't hear at all. Soem writers repubkish their articles in some other sites as well. These sites ban them thinking their content is duplicate. When there are thousands of sites out there for the users to work on, still it is a sort of humiliation to get banned, what do you think?

I have never heard of any sites banning us from them without prior notice, well may be tere are which inform this already in their privacy policies which we hardly read.So may be they already have written it there that they going to bann people if something goes wrong and that also may be one reason where they must hvae banned you right?

No, even when we don't commit any mistakes soem times they ban us thinking that we have violated the rules. We should be given a warning, know? What is wrong in giving a warning, afterall there are many newbies joining everyday. This shows the dictating mentality of the sites. Republishing also creates problems in some sites.so It is better not to republish even if they are your original articles.

Absolutely no right at all. Although it says in there terms of use that they have the right they should still give a warning. Like most people, i dont read through all of the guidelines of most sites but i do read all the legal stuff just in case things happen.

I agree with you fully. They should give a warning before banning. They should also tell the member where and how he violated the terms of the site. They can suspend the account temporarily when it occurs for the first time.

Some sites will do that, some will give out prior warnings. Some sites require you to "read" and agree to the tearms of agreement when you make an account.

Readingh terms is ok. But still there is nothing wrong in giving a warning, is it not? After all we work with a site for some months or so after this they simply ban with out telling any reason, is it good? is it justified?

Yeah, I have Once Faced this type of Problem Once, That site have Banned from Accessing the Site without any Mistake and when I contacted the Admin of site, then I got a reply that the Site have All right to banned any member with or without any Prior Notice/Warning, But I don't think it is Fair because If your are getting banned atleast the site should state you the reason for banning your account. Keep Smiling and Happy myLotting...

Yes, that is what I am trying to bring to the notice of mylotters. It is common to err. Some may have done something wrong not willfully but by mistake. They should be given a chance to correct themsleves? It is correct to ban members who violate terms knowingly and trying to cheat the site. But the sites should not act as a dictator.

Yes, it is indeed very unfair to the writer to get banned without giving them chance or an opportunity to explain the things they have been blammed. The sites are not supposed to do so. Their action hurt and deject the writers to the great extent. Their harsh actions can endanger the career of many burgeoning writers.

Frankly speaking this is one of the topics that needs to be talked about because it is a major problem affecting us. Presently I have been banned from a site without prior notice, it looks unbelievable and intimidating. Well I just hope we will fight them back one day.

That is why I started this discussion. When more and more people start demanding this right they may change in future. Let us try to spread this message and fight for our rights.

Well I got my Yahoo Id taken because of a stupid woman in Yahoo Canasta that is jealous of me. Me and another friend have a email address, this woman in canasta, sent me something in the email, and I replied back (mistake to start with) to keep her self from my email. I should of just ignored it. Anyway then her husband email me telling me all kinds of junk. In the lobby one night she said her and her hubby never do anything to anyone and I ask her why her hubby emailed me cussing me out. She said he never did, and she kept saying I was such a liar and I always telling lies on her, so I posted the email on the message boards that her hubby sent me.First of all I don't like being called a liar, second when we opened this email, we had to register under a name, address so on, the other woman don't use the computer much but she said she could use it to get email from her family overseas, and I could let her know when she got email and I could use it for whatever. Well the email I sent back to her had the other woman's name at the top. This bi*tch in canasta, emailed Yahoo telling them that I was using a email that was not mine and that I had stold a woman's idenity. And was using it illegally. Yahoo has now shut down that email and refuses no matter what we send them to verfify that it is both our email address, when they shut it down they took along with the email address all the pics and contacts that we had on there. They say they have the right to take the contents when they delete a email address when you have broken one of their rules. We did not break any rules, I have ask nicely and now getting rather mad when they keep replying to me as I have broke a rule but they won't even listen to me or the other person. Funny that one person can say something and it becomes final. They don't have to prove any thing other than saying it. I guess if you are a sleeze on here your word is good and the others just get the shaft and nothing they can do about it.

Yes, it is frustrating. I had 100's of downlines in a paying website, and it just deleted my user - without any alert or reason. And they did not even return my emails asking about this whole affair. Frustrating indeed...

That is very true though it is stated in their guidelines too that they will ban or suspend a member without notice. I think that is unfair for members. I think they should give out a warning first before suspending. I agree with you. Some of us republish our own works but then it will still be deemed as plagiarism or some sort, for them. The best thing we can do is to come out a new and original article all the time.

Hi vijayanths, I too have heard of some sites banning their members without any pre warning, which is wholly unfair to the member. It is not easy to earn online. We spend a lot of time, gathering information and typing out the topics. And even if a mistake is made , I feel that the admins of those sites should warn the members and only if the member still continues to violate the rules, should he be banned. I have heard of many sites banning all members just because some one else from that region violated the rules, which is down right inhuman. But that is a reality and one has to accept it and go on until some regulations favoring the internet users come in place...

Yah agree with you site should give notice why they have to ban a particular member. I was member before of ciao but i am already banned. I dont know that i was banned till i know with other member that Asian members are banned because of some violations. I dont think its fair, they should just banned those members who are doing wrong things in the site. But they do is that they all banned asian members i dont think its fair.

that is true and i have experienced this situation a number of times, website that does this kind of things are rude in my opinion, even if users break some rules, they ought to give warnings but because these websites have grown they feel they are indispensable, they ought to know that they cannot survive without online users

I agree with you. Some sites ban without notice. Even I got banned from some BUX site. They did not pay me and now I am here. This site is not paying me too!
