A friend of mine from high school posted on facebook this morning that on her way to work this morning there was a man standing on the street corner holding a sign that said, "Homeless: Will work for food or drugs" Kinda sad don't you think? Are there lots of homeless where you live?

Where I live now, I have never seen a homeless person. But I have seen plenty whenever I go to New York. There was a documentary about homeless people once on TV, and they followed this one man. He begged for money all week, and then on the week-ends a limo would pick him up and take him to Atlantic City.

I saw a news report once. I think it was on 20/20. it was on how much people were actually making Pandering. interesting that it said some made as much if not more than a person at a job. Anyway, I think maybe the guy was a bit off. Not alot of homeless in the suburbs here. Downtown sure. But the place I have seen the most is down in Fort Lauderdale by my mom. I guess because it's warm.

I don't know if they're all really homeless, but yeah, I do see a lot of it. Those men are certainly dirty, and they always have signs up, usually on busy corners or on the off-ramps to the highways. Their signs say "Homeless, disabled Vet, please help, God Bless" things like that. I have no pity for them. I can never tell if these men are truly homeless and needy or if they're just trying to get a free buck. I've never given them anything. There are shelters and food pantries and food kitchens to help them. I'll donate to those organizations if I can, but I will not just hand money to a stranger when I don't know why they need it or what they'll use it for.

There are, but over here they are more aggressive. They openly ask and beg for money. Usually, they don't take food or the like. They also try to get really close to you, and if they do usually threaten you. They'll just walk into a store, or try to get on a bus, and start yelling and screaming for money. The homeless here annoy me because most of them look like they are able to work, they just don't want to.
