This morning in the news there was some rather alarming update on the autopsy of that little murdered girl. Remember her? I had a rather upbeat discussion several months back on this murder case here on Mylot. There are still bits and pieces of the story that tug at my heart and make me wonder what the last few hours of that poor little girl's life was like. The horror just goes on and on. Here is the link to the story I read this morning: http://news.aol.com/article/caylee-anthony-case/535733?icid=main|htmlws-main|dl1|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fnews.aol.com%2Farticle%2Fcaylee-anthony-case%2F535733 After reading this article I was apauled at the way the local police handled this case. A man was fired. Also a utility man had called the police several times in August to report a suspicious bag that later he brought out himself. It turned out to be the skeletal remains of that poor little girl. The case could have been closed back in August but it took until December. Some people shouldn't be policemen just as some women shouldn't be mothers. How does this affect us as mothers? It makes me angry and nauseated. It infuriates me that the police force there got away with this pathetic work. Atleast he was later fired but how did he make it as long as he did? And, lets not forget the grandparents of this little girl and the job they did to try to cover up this story. I understand why they did it but it was not a good thing. The public had a right to know after all the coverage. This poor little girl. I am so curious as to what led up to this horrific end to her life and how this woman could have been so cold. Sociopathic comes to mind. Some women just shouldn't be alowed to have children. What are your thoughts on this one Mylot moms?

I really hope that they will find out what really happened and who did what. I also don't think that it's right that when publicity was in favor of their daughter, her parents were all over the news, talkshows and everywhere...but the minute it's not so good publicity they want things sealed up so that those same ppl that helped them earlier don't wonder about the truth. You have to take the good with the bad...if it turns out that their daughter, Cayle's mother, did kill their granddaughter then they will have to live with that burden and the world will know...you can't keep something like that hidden. I do find it amusing that the womans lawyer is quoted as saying "when the truth comes out, ppl will say ah, now I understand" like there's a logical explanation for not reporting your child missing for over a month or all the other evidence against her. Wherever she is, I hope little Cayle is at peace and safe now. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I hope so also. Things like this really bother me. No logical understanding to murder. It is a horrific thing when a mother puts her own life so far ahead of her child. And the grandmother is going to have a hell on Earth. Thanks.

is she the real mother because i dont think she is. You can never kill your own child, the child that is your flesh and blood. as the other said, she carry her fro nine months. or maybe she is psychologically ill. She should be punish for what she did, she should pe punish with lethat injection or electric chair. i dont have compassion to those woman who think and react that way.

Have you not seen in the news over the last few years? This happens more than I would care to admit. It is horrific and sad but it does. You would think that in this world it would go better but it doesn't really seem to.

I also followed this story closely, celticeagle, and to say that this was a despicable crime does not do it justice. Evidently, the mother(if guilty) had no maternal instincts whatsoever. Who could carry a child for nine months, suffer through the pangs of delivery, and finally hold that precious life in their arms, then snuff out that little life? The crime was obviously committed by a person with a cold heart. I'm glad the grandparents did not get their wish to keep this under wraps.

I know. I am glad the grandparents didn't get their wish either. Amazing stuff.

Everyone knows that little girl's mother is the one who killed her. I am also beginning to wonder if the grandmother in this case is not guilty of being an accomplice as well. I say execute the mom and put the grandmother in prison. I am pretty sure that when the truth comes out, we will find out that BOTH are guilty.

Hey celtic! I am not a mom, but I don't need to be to tell you how I feel about this case and that psychotic beotch Casey Anthony! She is a twisted psycho who deserves to die! I hope that they convict her and I wish that they would strange her the way she killed that poor sweet child! I don't even feel that giving her a lethal injection is punishment enough! They give that to sick animals! Casey doesn't deserve that kind treatment! I personally believe in "an eye for an eye"! I believe she should die in a more torturous way and I believe that others feel the same way! Unfortunately, that will never happen! She was cold and calculating and wanted to get rid of this sweet innocent child because "she was in her way"! That beotch couldn't carry on and party the way she wanted! That isn't a mother! That is a psychotic person who deserves to die! If she didn't want her child she could have given her up for adoption! Even people give their unwanted pets up for adoption! I am adament about how I feel about this case!

Hey Opal! Hurrah for you sister! An eye for an eye! Now your talking. My sentiment exactly. Yes, I think she had alot of options and she just didn't care. Selfish comes to mind. I think she have to go into a long dark and smelly hall, walk down to the very end and be directed into a room of atleast 12 mothers who had free rein on what to do with her. Yep!

Who could kill a person in the first place, especially if it was your own child and still under school age, this world has gone really mad lately, more weird, scary and unexpected things have been happening and it just gets worse! God save us!

I do agree. It is a scarey place. I firmly believe we, each and every one of us, needs to besure our little corner of the world is clean of any ugliness and fowl behaviour. If more people did this and thought this way I think the world would be a much better place. What more can we be responsible for but that?
