I am trying now to copy and save my reviews that I have written, as I spent alot of time on them, and they are still mine. My question is what if they are still out there when they shut down, them what? Can we get in trouble for re-posting what we have written, even though we have gotten paid, but the site is no longer.... Help please. I don't want to lose all my hard work that I did . And I also don't want any problems.

I did join Ciao some time ago. But, never had the time to write any thing for them. This is news to me to hear that they are shutting down ! Disappointing for many !

I'm doing the same thing as I have about 154 reviews there...sheesh...hoping to copy each of my reviews a little each day. What many of my mylot friends have done that are at Ciao is repost them at Associated Content but you have to make sure you clearly state that the work was published already, and have the performance payment options..so no upfront payment. You also have to somewhere either at the beginning of the review or end that the review first appeared at Ciao under the name you had there and give the copyright sign © and date it first appeared. So something like this ©Oct. 8, 2008~Ciao under my pen-name pyewacket (I go by my real name at AC)

I dont hear anything from ciao since asian countries were said to be banned. Yes i am member of ciao before but suddenly i dont log in on my account and just know from other members that asian countries are now banned with the site. So this is new to me ciao is shutting down, so whats will be the reason. Maybe it will not eventhough i a not a member of the site already i wish it will continue runs ciao is a good paying site. I got my first payment from ciao so wish goodluck to the site.
