Heres the favorite of my family. And it's easy and quick. I buy refrigerated dinner rolls( pillsbury usually). Put flour on the cutting board and roll them out til thin.Drop in oil until they brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon on both sides. This is a cheap version of the fried dough you buy at the fairs.

If you like Almond Joy or Mounds bars, you might like this recipe. It's going to sound absolutely crazy, but trust me, it's delicious. You will need: Mashed potatoes, with no salt or butter or other flavorings Confectioner's sugar Coconut Almonds (optional) Melted chocolate The recipe isn't exact, it just depends on how many leftover mashed potatoes you have. Mix some coconut in with the mashed potatoes until it's a consistency you like, and then add powdered sugar until it's sweet enough for your taste. Spread the mixture into a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle almonds on top of it if you want to. Then spread or pour a layer of melted chocolate on top. Let the chocolate harden, and then slice it into bars.

We made strawberry shortcakes the other day. The strawberries were on sale really cheap. I bought the pre-made shortcake shells. But you could also use premade or make your own angel food cake, then you just cut the stem off of the strawberries and cut them in to pieces place them on the cake, and squirt whipped cream right on top. Delicious and very simple. I also have a great recipe that I created that is sugar free. I posted it on Associated Content, it is really good: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1636554/sugar_free_triple_layer_meringue_pie.html?cat=22 If you don't want it to be sugar free you can use regular vanilla pudding and regular whipped cream instead of the sugar free.
