My first is Microsoft Word, mostly used in letters. Second is Microsoft Excel, used in tables specially those which needed computations. Third is Microsoft Publisher, mostly used in booklets. That is my top 3 mostly used office applications, Word, Excel and Publisher. How about you, what is your Top 3?

Our top 2 is the same. That's good to know. In my work, it's still Office 2003 which is uses more. Because updating yourself from Office 2003 to Office 2007, you will first find Office 2007 complicated and different. You really needed to adjust yourself. It's not easy to familiarize Office 2007. But I can say both versions are good. Happy myLotting!

Yes, software updates always for the better. It always add new features and lessen bugs. But of course, adjustment in user's part is needed. Yes original is always the best. Have a nice day!

Hi, Thanks. I think software update is better. We just should more familiar with the little change to make user get significant progress from the developer. I think its must be some interesting plus that have been added. I never get the software already. But, We must have the original software, so the programs can be maximized for each user.

The top of the list is Visual Studio 2008. That is the tool I used to make my living. My responsibility is to write programs and debug any existing software that won't work. So, Visual Studio 2008 is the tool I used most often. Then, it is Microsoft Outlook which is the default email clients that everybody in the office use. There are dozens of emails that I send/receive everyday. So, I think it is quite a different list from others.

Visual Studio is not Office application but since it's also created by Microsoft, then let's include them on the list. Yes, you surely have a different list from ordinary computer user. Because you are a professional, being a programmer is not an esay job. I also know how to create a program using Visual Basic but just limited to it, there still another softwares under Visual Studio but only Visual Basic is what I can use. You are so fortunate that you are already an expert in programming, that can really be a good source of living. Thanks for the response. Happy myLotting!

I overlook your title and thinking you are asking about Microsoft applications in general. Sorry for that. If it is only Office application, my top priority is Outlook for email. Then it comes to Word as I have to use it for writing documents for various purposes. Lastly, it comes to PowerPoint for illustrating my concepts to my superiors.

It's ok, no problem. So your top 3 is Outlook, Word and Powerpoint. I guess only few people will get the same order as yours specially having Outlook as number 1. I also use Powerpoint for presentations but that's only my fourth so it's not included in my list. Anyway, thanks again for your response. Have a nice day!

Just like most people, you also included Word and Excel in your top 3. That's good. Oh you still use Microsoft Frontpage 98, that's quite old now. But I can't blame you coz it's really easier to design a webpage there. Thanks for your response. Happy myLotting!

For me it goes as follows: 1. Word 2. Excel 3. Access It is a very good package and I also like Outlook and Photo Editor which really comes handy especially if you're working in a office which requires frequent word processing and mailing facilities.

I use openoffice instead of microsoft office, because it works pretty much the same way and is free. Anyway i use very often Calc (that is the equivalent of excel) and Writer (that is word). Sometimes i use impress (powerpoint) to make presentations for university. I also use microsoft outlook that was given to me with my smartphone.

It has to be Excel, Word and Outlook, simply because their usages are of a nature that makes them everyday applications. I use Publisher quite frequently, but far less than the others. Outlook is used everyday even though people tend to not consider it as essential, and Word is in regular use simply by typing letters or reports etcetera. My favourite is Excel, which is probably the most used program on my computer and the one which I would miss the most. If you learn to use macros and boolean logic then you will find that Excel has a myriad of powerful uses.

I never like the look of excel and i hate it. anyway, i work on excel everyday just for taking some print outs with little corrections helping mu uncle at home. Lastly, I use powerpoint for reading some of my email attachments. I rarely used powerpoint on other cases.
