I started the day feeling bad that Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer. It was heartwrenching. I had to sit back and take a minute to realize it wasnt some kind of mean joke to get ratings by certain tabloids. After I had finally came to grips with this, I turn on the television and hear that michael Jackson had died of cardiac arrest this afternoon. What! Michael Jackson was my love as a teenager. My parents even hired a look a like to come to my get out of school party at the end of 9th grade. How sad. The world has truly lost today. And yesterday a comedic icon Ed McMahon. No more please. THe world will never know how much they have lost. How do you feel about these unfortunate happenings?

As a 50 year old, I feel as if I have lost two friends, two people who have been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. They were part of my adolescence, and I'm sure were part of the vast network of experiences that shaped my personality. No matter what people think of either of these two people, the world now has a huge void in it and they will be missed.

I am not a fan of both of them but I cannot feel but be sad by what has happened. I truly love the songs of Michael back then though I did not become a die hard fan but loved his songs back then. With Farrah Fawcett, I do know she has been a good actress and I guess where ever she is right now is in good hands already. Both of them actually, they did have a good life and career in here with some bumps here and there but they have made their lives and made other people lives feel better with their talents. Now it is their time with their creator.
