I'm melting....

My family was thinking of going to Six Flags this Sunday. As pointed out to me by a friend who also intends to go, the heat may make that a bad idea. My wife and my daughter both have asthma. The heat may be too much.

I know that feeling and I am just sad that my little sister has to be in this type of weather without a fan or electric. It has been sweltering out today..I have been out a few times but it always makes coming back in feel so good with the small air conditioner unit we have in the living room..

It has been a scorcher here for about a week also. We have been in the 90's with a heat index over 100 degrees. It is very humid here too in Indiana. We have a pool to get into and air conditioning inside, thank God.

Hello ersmommy. I can understand what you talk about when it comes to humidity of the weather because I live in the south of China and we often have this humidity in hot summer when there is no rain. But right now, we are into the season of so-called rainy season in the south and it seems that the weather is not so humid. It usually lasts for more than half a month before it is gone or before the heavy humidity comes to visit us again. Stay cool in this hot summer, friend.

I went out to the Grocery store, Sam's club, and then to get my daughter. I was out for about 2 1/2 hours total. No AC at home and no AC in my car. I think I need a shower again already and I just took one at 2 pm.

Been nice past few weeks... but tomorrow and Sunday - we will have triple digits! Summer is here in So Cal! I hate these hot summers and never ever complain when it is cold!!!

Today it is really warm but tomorrow they have a severe weather alert. It is supposed to get to 105. That is an indoor only day.

this morning when i went to work it was super hot and sticky. when i came out at 1:00, there was a nice breeze and it was a little cooler. the thunderstorm that we had this morning, cleared out the air. i dislike the heat and humidity, but this year seems to not be as bad so far. it is because many of the steel mills are shut down due to the economy.

I don't handle heat well at all, but it hasn't been unbearable yet! It was getting there yesterday, mostly with the humidity. Then last night it started storming and it got very cool. So far today has been nothing but thunder storms, but now suddenly the sun is starting to come out. Go figure! They say it's supposed to rain all weekend, and I won't totally mind that. I hate being stuck in the house without a vehicle as it is, at least if it's rainy I won't have any desire to get out!

It is pretty hot and humid here too. For us, one week, it was in the 70s and the next, we were hitting 100 degrees! My husband and I were putting off turning our air on until we absolutely had to do it. THe down-side to having the air on is that now, when we go outside, it feels even hotter and none of us really want to go outdoors!
