I'm going to clean my kitchen and bathroom floors this morning. They really need it. It's been a while since they had a really good cleaning. How often do you clean the floors in your house? What is your favorite floor cleaner?

I mop my floors everyday. I need to do that cos it has heavy traffic. I am staying in a shophouse and during the day it become our living area but during the night it is turned into a pub/lounge. So that is why I need to mop the floors everyday without fail.

Sounds good enough to me. I use Murphy's sometimes too. Don't like the pine sol scent though.

We hardly ever clean the floors. It's just a couple of us in the house so they don't get that dirty. But when we're having a party of something we usually clean everything.

I will clean my bathroom floor every two or three days and that is when either me or my husband has a shower. The kitchen floor, I will mop every day, and usually give it a damp mop around the edges. I do not have a favorite floor cleaner but I use one of those miracle mops and they work well. It does save me from buying swiffer pads. I will use an Oxyclean cleaner or something that contains oxyclean because it does a good job at removing stains, but most of the time it is hot water and maybe a mild dishwashing liquid as my floors are tile and lino and light color so I see the dirt easy when it first lands on it.

What kind of miracle mop is it? Have you ever used a steam cleaner?

I have a housekeeper so I'm taking a break for that chore for a while.

Lucky you. Could you send your housekeeper my way when you're done?

That sounds like a good cleaning plan you have there. If you'd like to clean some more, just come on over.

I usually clean my floors at least once per week. That is all they actually need it other than sweeping the floors a few times a week to get the dirt off of it if there is any or hair. I like to use Mr. Clean or Green Clean.

I don't do the house cleaning. My wife is doing it right now while I'm goofing off on my computer. She cleans house every Saturday, I do other chores like mowing the yard and taking care of the tomato plants (just watered them a few minutes ago), did you know that they need a lot of water every day? If I spill something or drop something I always clean it up and I do help with the dishes (we have a dishwasher).

That's good that you do your share. We also have a tomato plant and they do require a lot of water.

I do mine approximately once a week but sometimes I go longer since it's just my husband and me, for the most part, walking on them. I use various cleaners on my floors but lately I've been using one of the Mr. Clean Multi-Surface cleaners with Febreze, which I love.

It's true that you can go longer without cleaning them if there are just one are two people in the house. Since we also have two children, the floors get dirtier a lot faster.

I have 2 dogs and a cat, so we have a lot of hair all over, so i have to keep all the floors swept everyday, and i also damp mop everyday to try to keep the hair up. but as a good cleaning i usually try to do it once a week.

I clean kitchen floors every after cooking. For bathroom floors, once a week. that would be different for the bath tub because I clean it up every time I use it, before and after.

I do it everyday, and some days few times. We have a chimney in the kitchen and we use the fireplace to roast food, warm the house in winter so ashes are very common...then the bathroom needs cleaning everyday, and when is dry and windy more often, dust and sand enters at any hour. :)
