Another Death

About now it is starting to seem like an epidemic of deaths of famous people. As I was browsing my home page a short while ago the photo of a familiar face suddenly caught my eye, and it got my complete attention when I read the heading that Billy Mays had been found dead in Florida. It struck me so forcefully because I had just watched him do one of his familiar sales pitches minutes before on my TV. He is famous for selling products like Oxyclean and various others on TV. He was 50-years-old, and his wife stated that she had phoned 911 when he was unresponsive as she tried to wake him. She also said that he had complained of not feeling well last night when he retired at about 10:00. I don't know what's with all of these deaths lately, but I sure hope his will be the last for awhile. I've heard quite a bit about people going in threes with all of the deaths this month, but I believe that he will make five. What do you make of it all?

I am starting to think that the famous People are living their life's wrong
It is just so strange that they go to bed and then not wake up again at early ages, I can not understand that
I am sorry that another one has passed away even though I do not know this Gentlemen
I mean we understand like with FF she had cancer but when they seem ok and not wake up the next Day, it is strange

I don't think it is especially strange, gabs, because I am a believer, and we are told that people will be leaving in great numbers. Just think, the airbus crashes, train wreck, and who knows what else will follow.

OMG, now I know who he is! I saw the name on the bottom line of the TV screen and it struck me as familiar but I couldn't place him but now I can. Yep, I also just saw one of his commercials not long ago. I guess you never know, do you?
I know everyone is going crazy hearing about Michael Jackson, but that came as a total shock to me. They announced it at our local pool when I was there the other day and I just about fell over.

I just watched most of the memorial on TV and I cried several times! Did you happen to see what the Representative from N.Y., Peter King, had to say? He was totally disrespectful and I understand there are groups of Michael's fans who are working hard to keep him from getting reelected next year. Count me in, he's an A-Hole!

I just read it myself and I was quite surprised. It does seem like a lot of celebrities have been dying recently,but what concerns me too, is that it seems that important world events seem to be taking a backseat on the news channels in lieu of covering the latest celebrity passing.

I don't know, Riptide, for I think that reasonable people will not forget that much to be concerned about is taking place even while we pay homage to those who have departed.

I saw the headline on Yahoo's homepage earlier this afternoon. Actually, the first time I noticed it I hadn't seen all of the headline as I was going to (I think) my inbox. I just saw "Police report that Billy Mays....".
At first it didn't really sink in but then I realized what I had just read and said to myself, "Oh no, don't tell me." But sure it enough that's what it was. This seemed like a really bad week to be a celebrity or famous person.

My experience was very similar to yours, DarthJustice. I almost skimmed over it completely. It has been a bad week for sure.

Yes that was number five and I truly believe there will be another one very soon. I don't want to say who because I don't want it too happen but......!

I see they have not pulled his commercials from network TV, countrysun, and I wish they would.
