So Much For Me Time Today....

My parents are coming over today sometime so that dad can take the boating test online. So much for me time but knowing how dad is, he'll be in a hurry to "get home" once he's finished, how ever long it'll take. So that said, I thought I'd come on here and tell what happened that sent me into such an anxiety attack. I'm hoping to find something to do while they're here so I can avoid the "knowing all too well" questions of what's that on your face?.... duh!! It's called lupus break out thanks to your stupid actions and bla bla bla! Friday afternoon dad acted like a total azz - worse than that. He calls me to tell me that moms blood pressure was so high that it was in stroke stage. We were suppose to go up there for a fish dinner although I’ve been sick with diarrhea b/c of my niece and I had a fallen out and moms crying guilt trip the same night which was Thursday b/c of my niece and I had a fallen out, I was still going and not tell them I’ve been sick. When dad called and told me that about mom, I told hubby to call my brother and aunt because I'm not going up there b/c I can’t handle it right now so he did and dad jumped all over my brother and aunt for calling and then jumped all over hubby for calling them. Hubby gave back just as good as dad gave. Their big freezer went out and we were going to bring our two big coolers up but I didn't go so hubby took them up even after dad jumped all over him. About a half hour later my dad calls to apologize while I was talking to my aunt who was crying her heart out but I didn't tell him that she was on the phone. Later mom calls me and is crying her heart out mad as hell at dad for acting like a jackass and said if hubby comes up there then he’s a damned fool and she said she told dad that if hubby doesn’t come up she wouldn’t blame him and she asked him for a divorce because she cant take anymore of his sh!t. I mean, here I am so upset over Farrah’s passing and then my b!tch niece and now dad and his actions, mom and her blood pressure and crying guilt trip Thursday and then crying that night over dad's actions and my aunt on the phone crying. I’m about to lose it for sure! I'm at home trying to get away/stay away from it all and still I'm bombarded by it all. I can't win for nothing!! I don't mean to down my parents for I love them very dearly but damn!! Lighten up!! I can't take this crap!! Drama drama drama! After being away for a blessing 15 years of peace and now that I'm back, it's back to drama again!! GEEZE!!

Oh I prepared myself for the worst and prayed for the best and I got the best!! Thank You God!! It turned out that the test was 6 to 8 hours long and dad wasn't about to sit through it that long and plans to take the course instead and not only that but he didn't have any nitro with him so he had to go home. So that said, the rest of the day is mine to do what ever I want! hee hee so I'm going to figure out what to do with myself.... got any ideas? lol

Oh my goodness I'm feeling quilty for my own pity party - you certainly do have way more drama going on than I do and in my book I have too much :( Can't stand drama and often wish I could just move to a shack in the northern woods where I didn't have to have contact with anyone - I do perfectly fine alone. My heart goes out to you and hope you find some 'me time' soon.

Don't you belittle your situation because of mine EVEN IF it were true!! It's bothersome as hell and that's the whole point of it all. Drama drama drama drives me insane!! I can't stand it either and wish it would just go away!! Like you, I wish I could just take hubby and all of our fur babies (16 of 'em) and just move away, far away with no phone! Isn't that called Heaven? LOL

I hate the drama too. Some people feed on it, drama to me is sickening. I do my best to stay away from it, too stressful. I hope the visit goes well today and that everyone keeps themselves and their mouths under control.

No you are not at all terrible. Look what I have to say about my house apes, there my kids and I love them. We are all human, we love our family but we don't choose them. We pick our friends and our mates, but not our parents, siblings or children. You can love someone dearly but that doesn't mean you have to like them. Now do I sound terrible?????

Now you know why you went away. We do have people whom we love that we cannot stand. gEt out of the place, go to the library and hide while your folks are there. It is impossible to deal with your family. Take care of you.

My hubby's friend told him to let them be and just ask "What would you like me to do?" and listen to what they say and if they give an idea of something that needs doing, then do it and then ask the same question and if there's nothing else then leave it at that. Very wise man I'd say!

Friend, you really need to put your foot down in your own defense. It's shows time and time again that you're not going to get their support and it shows. I could not be like this all the time and neither should you. You have done so much to help them. Where are your brothers?
