I tell you going shopping can be depressing to say the least I notice every time i go something has increased more money although last time I went I noticed eggs did go down quite a bit maybe it is a sign of prices trying to return to normal although I doubt it much sadly

Yes. Our budget for market was 1,500 a week, it was sufficient a couple of weeks ago. But now, it looks like we need to add another 500 to our budget. Everything is expensive! Even if you buy fish or veggies, you have to alot a good amount of 200 for a meal. ;/

For sure jugsjugs, I have seen that the food keeps going up to the point where we cannot eat even as many times a day that we need too. I suggest that try going to a Aldis or a store simliar to buy your canned goods that way you can save some money on those needs instead of paying the high prices to a big chain store. Take care friend and happy mylotting to you.

The shopping bill seems to rise every week as foodstuffs and toileteries get continually more expensive and things don't jump up by ten cent marks up's any more but by 30 or 50 cents. This is excerbated by this being a tourist area and the prices jump as soon as the season starts, they used to drop again at the end of the tourist season but now they don't. The best buys are from the fruit and vegetable market. Also basic things like electricity and water have vastly increased in the last year. I am very price conscious when I shop and do notice the increases.

You're right. My shopping bill reach RM200 last week. I bought the usual stuff as the weeks before, only a couple of stuff added. It shouldn't cost much. Yet, it so high that I was surprised. Still, I managed to cut off a few bucks using coupons. It's a good thing to bring the coupons along.
