I do not how how problem after problem piles up there for me.I have shifted to new location yesterday in office. That desk do not have phone, pedestal, waste paper basket or anything.I asked the project management office representative. she said its hard to arrange them. I was not very convinced about her reasoning.I asked the authority responsible for this.They called me just now after about 15 mails. They say that PMO can only handle this.Now she has put that to deadlock saying its not possible.
I wonder why i need to face all these problems while all others who shifted with me yesterday got everything?
Why always small and big problems crop into life that seem no solution.

I do not know how to comfort you dear. These are basics that every office should come with! I am really sorry. It seems that they have put their foot down in the name of 'recession' and 'cost cutting'. I would rather call it unofficial attitude. How will they get the employees' best effort!

So you sit patiently until you get a waste basket and a phone, I do believe that your complaining is what puts you where you are. You ask to be put in another group, you got another group did you stop to think the others may of been appointed to this group way before you and they are trying to make room for you. Is it impossible to do your job with out a phone and a waste basket, if you need one so bad bring one from home till they get you one. Sorry but you always find something wrong no matter what is going on, if they label you as a whinner then you will never get ahead, they just push you to the side.

the things may appear very funny to you. But I think when I am facing the things myself, i am feeling the heat.you have to see the scenario. we are supposed to get KT from today. For that we are required to connect to web share application and listen the KT on phone. But as I have no phone at desk, I can't listen at my desk. Have to beg others in team if they can allow me sit there . But they will have other works.Now there is no way out. all people have not come before me. many people have come to team with me, they have got phones at their allocated desk. 2 will come later and even they are allocated desks which have phones.Its easy to cooment but you must try to put yourself in others shoe.

Sorry I see your reasoning for needing a phone at your desk, did you ask if the others that are coming later why you can't have one of their desks and find a phone for them when they get there or how do they expect for you to do your job if you have nothing to listen on. If they want you to work, then it is up to them to furnish you with what you need to do your job. I can see your reason for complaining now as you did not make it clear in your other post how your job works. Why do you think it is you that they always slight when it comes to your job. Do you feel they are trying to push you out, that maybe they don't like you. Or they are just unorganized. I wish I knew what to tell you, I just think I would be looking around for another place to work, and yes I know times are hard but why stay some where if they don't care if you get what you need to do your job, I assume you are paid by what you put out in work each day. Hard to do your work if you don't have the tools to do it with. Ever thought of filing a greivance against the company.

You seem to have my luck. Everything seems to be falling apart around here too and if there are any problems out there, they sure will find me. I think some people just like to give certain people a hard way to go.

Your company sounds lazy. Put your foot down and refuse to work till they give you what you need. Write a formal letter of complaint to the top person in the department and ask them how you are supposed to work without a phone.
