What am I messing about Obama that you can see nothing wrong with him? I am at a loss here folks. I am not much different form you. I am a wife who has a career. I go to work everyday, almost. Unlike every Democrat I actually pay my taxes. I have a modest house on an acre of land with a mortgage that I can afford. I have a truck, a car, a boat, and a ridding lawn mower. I have two dogs and three cats.

Your not alone, we're just not talked about by the propaganda machine called the state run media, we're the forgotten man\women. We gotta hang in there amungst each other, communicate, stay informed and show em starting in 2010!!
The one thing that really pi**es me off is the left calls us racist everytime you talk bad about him, I'm sick of them hiding behind his color, I think thats more racist then anything.

Nice, bash all of Europe too. You're so isolationist, you'd probably secede with your acre if you could.

I voted Democrat and I pay taxes. Wow, u have a lot of stuff! You should be very proud...trucks cars, boats, they will make you happy. I hope so ayway :)
I do see stuff wrong with Obama and our entire govt. but I still voted for him. Did u see anything wrong with the candidate u voted for? Many on here take this anti-Obama thing to an extreme..at least he did not lie to get us in a war. Anyway no one is perfect, I'm sorry your candidate did not win. There are winners and losers in life, just happens Obama won that particular game and life will go on...I promise.

Well then you should be running the IRS. At lest someone who pays their taxes should be. You forgot about my pets. Sure I find faults about the candidate I voted for, but this is not just a game it is life here. Your candidate is all about more government control where my candidate is for less. My candidate sees value in the individual where your candidate see value only in government. Your candidate would impose burdens on my life where my candidate would not, only liberty. You speak about their are winners and loser you are so right, but your candidate punishes success and rewards failure. Is Obama won but how does that make America a winner?

You forgot: potentially destroying the environment (though I don't believe in "Global Warming").
Still, corporations do not quite act as government yet. If they did, I would leave. I do believe the Obama Administration will reel them in a bit better than any other choice we had this past election. Fewer taxes are not worth corporate dominance to me.
As for "personal freedom", I will oppose Obama if he starts taking real liberties away. I have a feeling many of his haters just have different views of freedom. These are issues we fight with every politician.

Our system has been punishing success and rewardng failure for years! It also rewards for all the wrong values. CEO's with mulit-million dollar bonuses when their companies are losing money. Hedge fund operators making out like bandits no matter what investment decisions they make, while all the hard workers go to work day to day for peanuts. Corporations became our govt.

I don't get it either. Now he's backing a guy who wants to become the dictator of Honduras and totally disregard their entire constitution. If that's not enough to wake people up to his agenda, I don't know what is!

Gew, it is your right to see what you want to see. When Bush was president I saw what he was, even when the majority of people called me unpatroitic, and told me to support Bush or get out. When all was said and done, I was RIGHT, and they were wrong (but they will never admit it). You really don't want to talk about paying taxing, when our last vice president only paid 9% in income taxes, and was proud of it. Trust me, there are plenty of examples of republicans not paying taxes.

There is nothing wrong with you, it's just that millions of people are blinded and ignorant of facts. They want to be coddled and taken care of, and have everything handed to them for free, and they think that Obama is going to save them. We can give facts until we're blue in the face, yet others will wait for the 'happy ending' that will never come.

I do not think anything is wrong with you at all. I do not know much about Obama anymore. I just know this country is a mess and I don't think anyone is ever going to get it back on track.

My problem is just the opposite, I want to know why people see nothing BUT wrong in Obama? Why the fear? Why the hate? Why fall for Far Right propaganda? He is but one politician trying to better the country, right? His ideas may be different from yours, but does that make him evil?
Why does anybody feel the need to make him the Anti-Christ of America? I have heard nothing reasonable about any plans to destroy this country.
What do you think is his endgame here? How EXACTLY is he, personally, a threat to you?
I know some people just hate the Federal government, but I can deal with them later. You wanted to know what was wrong with you about missing something in Obama? Well you first need to tell me what you think is wrong. Then I'll ask you to sit down on the couch so you can tell me how that makes you feel, and I'll try to diagnose your neurosis or psychosis.

You want to go down this road then let us go right down this road.
You speak of Obama not wanting to do any harm and if that was true I would not write one discussion about my problems with the man. Take for instance cap and trade which will raise my electricity bill for instance. That would do harm on myself. More money coming out of pocket because of something that Obama supports. To pay for all of Obama's new spending either two things are going to have to happen, either I will have to pay more in taxes or the dollar will have to be inflated.
So go ahead and make fun of me but maybe one day you well tell the world what is so great about Obama?

Ah, so it does come down to money. I appreciate your honesty.
Do you complain as much when a company raises their prices just to pay their executives more? What about when their production costs rise because of technological changes? For Obama, the "cap and trade" provisions are a new cost of doing business for these companies. It doesn't make him a terrible person.
As for taxes, there must be something that you like your taxes going toward. You could try to pretend that yours are only going to those programs. The Federal government has been losing money most of its existence because the average person cannot see the benefits of fully financing it, and with all the waste, it is hard to blame them. The problem is we've ended up with too many programs that too many people like and no corresponding willingness to pay more taxes. Boy, that poor balanced budget amendment!
I can't tell you Obama is a great person. I don't know that, but I know a lot of time and money is being wasted to try to show how bad he is and I haven't seen anything beyond a normal modern politician who is good at his job (not that I'm saying that's a good thing, but it is not the end of the world).
