***Help Please*** My darling Cat hit some keys on my KEYBOARD and now MYLOT'S

SCREEN PAGE IS ITTY BITTY IN SIZE....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGHHHHH!!!!!!![u][/u]
I can barely read this as I type it that's how small it is;
I am using FIREFOX OF COURSE....and this is where I was here on mylot, when my darling
cat Screamer moved her big old foot/leg and it landed on I don't know how many keys or what keys on the left side of my keyboard and I've tried and tried to figure out what the heck to do to make MYLOT'S PAGE RETURN TO NORMAL SIZE...now other websites pages are fine;
its just THIS ONE THAT IS IN ITTY BITTY CENTER STAGE.....WITH LOTS OF ROOM TO THE LEFT
AND RIGHT, again ALL ITEMS/WORDS/ETC is DEAD CENTER/AND IN ITTY BITTY STINKY PRINT
I CAN'T FRIGGIN READ IT...am I mis spelling anything? I WOULDN'T KNOW, I CAN'T SEE IT!!

MYLOT'S PAGE is in normal fullsize mode using IE...but not when I am in FIREFOX like now
and I use PREFER FIREFOX OVER IE...

HEY GIRLFRIEND!!
This is so friggin great, maybe Screamer did me a favor I CAN SEEEEE SOOO MUCH
better now and NOT have those annoying glasses on even though I do need to still
go back to the eye doctor..(sigh)!
Not sure if it will reload this way but I KNOW NOW how to enlarge it the way I want !

You poor thing. I wish I could help you. Mylot is filled with lots of smart people so I am sure someone will be able to help you. My grandson would say to restart the computer, he is 4 and thinks that will fix anything. Its worth a try. Good luck.

Hey jan! Everything looks fine to me! Nothing is spelled
wrong and everything is all nice and capped! I guess you'll
just have to ask Screamer what she did! And have her undo
it! My cat's have a habit of putting their big feets on the
keyboard too! I don't know why they can't stay off the computer!
They don't know how to type and they know Mom Mom gets upset!
I let them lay in my lap! That should be good enough! Don't
worry! I'm sure someone here will know what's wrong and help

right away (g)!
its all fixed and even better really now I have it set NICE and big heck I don't even need my
glasses now if you scroll up and read what they suggested you'll see and if you use firefox
make a mental note of this or write it down or file it away or something LOL!
I never knew a thing about this trick and I thought I knew a fair amount of computer tricks;
PFFTTT!! Not so today!
Yeah since I've had my computer crap all over my kitchen table she just has went NUTS about
insisting on laying up here beside me I've got to clean off this thing cause I need my
table for the weekend...ARRGGGhhh!!
but been sitting here most of the day trying to reach payout I think I made it by the skin of my teeth...ain't that sad??

It looks like others did not know about this trick either. I know it, but forget it if I do not have to use it very often. Then it is trial and error for a few minutes til I get it right.

Sorry but i didnot understand well what you are talking about?And Sorry if i am out of topic. I think you are talking about small size of screen? if then you can make it from view zoom in or zoom out. Once i had mistakenly shrinked my window and it became small and hard to understand. After roaming here and there in toolbar i found it.

Hi shnsun: That's what happened, when my cat touched some keys on my keyboard
it shrank the size of the mylot page and all the typing and words got really really
tiny in size but some good friends here have fixed my problem they told me to
hold down the control key and use my scrolling button on my mouse hold it down and drag it
and now I have a nice big screenshot of mylot so much so that I don't have to wear
my glasses to see and read and type...ITS GREAT!
So remember that if you get a tiny screenshot of your webpage sometime..LOL!

I have had similar things happen to me.The cats love me and they are nuisances when it comes to the computer. I was going to suggest Dark Jedi's solution. Glad you got it fixed.

it happens to me once too, it was strange to me because it never happens before but i figured it out that when i used my scroll in my mouse it makes the window or tab small or big depends if its up and down i used so i know it was the problem that causing it. After a couple of scrolling it returns back so i didn't bothered to know anymore how it was solve. Well i have learned some good things here today. Nice post. Have a nice day!

Hey Jan! Sorry to hear about your problem with the computer. By now I'm sure you have your problem fixed by now, but, if not, have you tried rehitting the same key to see if it undoes itself? You've probably already figured that out too! LOL!

I know you've got the solution now (the Ctrl/mouse wheel) but I also noticed you were told Crtl + which is the opposite of what you wanted: Ctrl + enlarges and Ctrl - reduces.

Hi Jan! I think everything okay now. As I read through the discussion, I can see that everybody already answered your question in any possible answers. hehehe Anyway, next time, keep you cutie cat away from your mouse and keyboard. Next buy a mouse with a scroll by this you can easily make you page smaller and bigger by hitting CTRL and scrolling the roller of your mouse at the time. Hehehe... Mayday Mayday, everything fine now? roger? lolz.
