What is one thing you have to have if you are going to be driving a long ways?

Is it your cell phone, coffee, water, a map, music, or someone to keep you company?

This is a really good discussion and I know that driving is really important when it comes to everyday life, because everyone has to be able to get from point A to point B,and most people know how to drive, and I know that some people like to drive on long trips, but may not like short trips, and then I am sure some people may like going on short trips but not going on long trips, and I am sure that different people have different opinions when it comes to one thing they have to have when they are on a long trip, some people might have to have water, while others might have to have a cell phone, and I can understand that everyone is different, and that no two people think the same way since everyone has different ideas, different opinions, and different preferences, and it is good that everyone is different because if everyone was the same, things would be incredibly boring and dull, and no fun whatsoever, and when it comes to me if I am going for a long drive I have to have someone with me to keep me company, preferably my fiance who I can not stand to be away from and I like to spend every minute with, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

lol only when I have a certain place in a town to go too. Like when we had to find Union halls or a fast way to get across country fast for a job!

Music and good company is the best for long trips. I also like to have a map for good measure. If I don't have anything else though...music is a must.

Yes, ma'am. Right o. Love a good tune while driving. Or a friend who likes to entertain, huh?

Hello friend, I would like music to be played if I am on my own on a long drive. However, if asked to order these things in order of preference, my order would be: 1. Cell phone 2. Water 3. Music 4. Someone to keep me company

I think the most important thing is take enough money, or credit card with you. because we can not know if there's something wrong when you are driving, but if you have enough money with you, you will be more confident to face any problems.

I gotta have my Zune as well as my CD's just in case my Zune may die! I could never go without music! It is so important to this world!

CE- On long trips I must absolutely have enough music for the trip. Oh, I enjoy good company and my husband and I have been on a few trips together of a few hours, but music helps me drive and stay awake. Of course, that said I also always bring my cell phone, the map of where we are going, and we keep snacks in the car along with water. The water I started when living in Arizona. It was necessity to never get stranded without water. I also kept a lighter and pocket knife as well. Now that I'm up here in the colder climates I've taken to keeping a blanket, and such things in the trunk. We're working on switching to more practical blankets. My husband and I are looking at saving for items through the surplus stores so that we always have what we need. I've not joined too many of the survivalist interests on Mylot, but I've friends on other networks that I speak with about what to have, etc. Namaste-Anora
