Criminals on mylot...disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!

I have noticed that there are some criminals on mylot, and the number seems to increase. For example that guy who keeps on posting his $5 instant ad, then use the excuse that he has no other choice. Honesty will bring him more money online than scamming, which I see as criminal. Then there is the member who copied another post as his own. This is criminal. MyLot is a very good site and we should not allow criminals to get away with such acts. My advice is, do not respond because if the post gets deleted, you loose. Rather just report the offenders and lets spend our time responding to the honest members' posts. Mylot is for our enjoyment, not a place for criminals.

You have read my thoughts exactly! Users should not respond as they will lose the earnings when the posts by those users are removed. This is also another reason why we should READ ALL THE RESPONSES on a discussion BEFORE responding. That way we will become aware that others have discovered the antics of these crooks and cheaters and we will not waste our time

Hi you really have good presence of mind....... I wonder how you came to know that the content of that particular discussion was plagiarized ???? I am sure you know who I am talking about.......

Pratically every discussion and every response by that user is plagiarised. Myself and others have noticed and reported and tried to warn users not to respond. When in doubt it is enough to copy part of the text and insert it in any search engine and if it is copied it will appear immediately. When a user does it once they usually have a habit of doing it a lot if not always so the rest shows up in the profile. There are many Lotters who report for the benefit of the community as a whole and in this particular case it is blatantly obvious that it will save others from wasting their time and seeing their earnings decrease. MyLot should not be allowed to be overcome by spammers and plagiarists as we will all lose the best paying site on the internet if that is allowed to happen

Yes that is true. This is for the first time I am hearing about the criminal activities in Mylot. We must not allow those criminals to enter into this site and theymust be flushed out Iron Handed. If criminals of that sort enters into Mylot, it diminishes the goodness and fun of Mylot. Mylot is a very good site and it must be protected from scammers and other false information givers. Thanks a million for bringing into notive about these kind of spammers. They have to be chucked out from this site.

Yeah, definitely gotta report for abuse and get these people out if they did all this out of intention but still not admitting to it... myLot is a good site indeed, don't want it to be spoiled. Sometimes though I find that it was some error with my internet connection or something, made me almost post the same message twice since I thought the first post did not come out.

Bunch of low life thats all i can tell you. while others are willing to sweat it out to earn this buck others are just like vulture waiting to scoop up other peoples harvest. They should be reported and shot and pictures of their demise be posted on mylot.

Such dastardly behaviour will mar the entire community and the reputation of mylot as a clean legitimate money making site might take a hit . Such type of activities must not be tolerated and stern action must be taken to set a precedent

Can you make a suggestion on what type or form of action should be taken? Banning an IP address is not feasible, because many users are given a dynamic IP address. This also means that the culprit can get away with it, simply by making a reconnection to the Internet. What about the innocent user who is given the banned IP address? Banning a computer based on MAC is not practical, because the computer may be used by many users, whether at home or anywhere else. Currently I can only think of banning a user based on his or her Paypal account. Even this method has a drawback, and will not really hurt persistent offenders.

I agree with that also. Those people make it bad for everyone else at Mylot. I do not see how they get by with doing things like that also and they need to be reported before it affects alot more of us, espeically the new people who may be unaware.

Hello, I have seem so many things happened here but nothing has been done at all... so I dont know what is going either. Another thing, sometimes they come up with Good online money marking and then boom they start to give out their scam sits. I guess it will getting worth and worth if Mylot don't take care of this.

hi beertjie, i guess I've missed these ones. I do agree with you though...if you see something like this going on you should report it. It's all dumb when they do this sort of stuff because they usually get caught and banned before they earn anything so I really don't understand just why they waist their time with it.

Well I do agree that some of the member here dont have good intentions and those members should not be allowed to remain in mylot, but we should be careful not to falsely accuse anyone of wrong doing we should make sure that whom ever is doing these acts is in fact truly and really doing wrong, becuse some members are so sensitive about watching mylot violators that they falsely accuse others of doing misdeeds so we should make sure that the person we are reporting deserves to be ousted from the site, dont get me wrong, I do think mylot is a place for good members to post and have fun, and people who are here to scam others should be gone, but lets make sure we dont jump to the wrong conclusions.

mylot is not only for fun.Making money is the main propoganda. So we should expect such cheap activities.Probably, mylot should think of not enticing people for money but to create a impression that it is a genuine social-networking site.

I agree with you. When I find a post like this I just don't respond, because I don't want to be associated with that kind of activity. I haven't ever reported anyone, but I suppose that is a good thing to do.

I just like to respond here, hope mylot will not get delete this. Well everywhere you go there's a criminals, law breaker and here in mylot unfortunately some members break the mylot rules coz they don't really clearly understand what it means or they don't bothered to read the rules. Sometimes, it happens that there is two the same discussions posted here coz i think it's a coincidents that there's is two or more persons who have same idea. But if the content is really exactly the same to the other post and it posted after your discussions with exactly the same content then that's a copy and paste and that's ridiculous. cheers.

Heloo Beertjie, I probably have come across both the cases here on mylot and yes it is really disgusting to see that these people are spoiling the fun......I have no issues with people trying to get referrals from here, everybody sometimes do that if they come across some good sites.......but then i have a problem if that is the only thing that they are here for, and specially when they don't follow the TOS and dispose it off as ignorance, if it is done once it is still accepted but then there are some regular offenders who don't really care.......i think they have no right to be in a place like mylot.......
