Yes, I finally reached my 100th post and I have a star! I'm so happy, elated, over-excited! OK, that's exaggerated. But I never imagined it's going to feel this good!
I got my first star after 26 days. Quite slow? That's okay, I worked hard for it.
How about you, how many days did it take you to get your first star? Or for those who are still in the works, how long do you intend to get your first star? Please share.

Hey doryvien, Congratulations!! That's a great feat and yellow is a good start to begin with.
Coming top your discussion, I can't really remember now. But I know this much that it took me ages initially. I wasn't conversant with internet and the theme of myLot changed in between. I got little confused. It took time to get used to. But it felt great!
Happy Mylotting!

Thanks, Mimpi! I haven't come across an explanation regarding the meaning of the star's different colors, except that blue and red are the most respected. I'd be fine with any color, though, but I'm even happier now that you said yellow is a good color to start with. On my first two weeks here I only posted about 3 to 4 responses, and it took me a while to start a discussion. But each post led to another and now I just can't stop it. I'm an addict!
Thanks for sharing and happy myLotting!

I really don't know when I got my star, as it seems many moons ago.
Seriously, though I started in April, and I got my star sometime in May. I started out It just seems long ago that I got my star, as the color has changed different colors since I have had it. I am happy with what I have though, as people think enough of my posts that they have ben giving me good ratings. I do that as well, as I won't give negatives, as I don't think it is right to do so. I would rahter rate someone with a positive, and if I can't I won't rate them at all. Anyway, I am gald for what I have and if I don't get the 10, that is ok, as I am satisfied with what I have. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hi Rosekiss,
Yeah, I read from some discussions that the number and color of the star could change depending on how you are rated by fellow myLotters. I don't think it's a good practice to give a negative rating, but I would drop a constructive criticism whenever appropriate, which of course could be taken negatively too. There's really no way of knowing how people will react to what you'll say, until you say it. My resolve? Exercise prudence, and better not tread on dangerous grounds. Thanks for responding and happy myLotting.
