are short naps good for health?

i always get short naps but i have not been able to get deep sleep as i wish, but are short naps good for health, it gives temporary energy but since i dont get deep sleep i always feel sleepy and keep yawning, am i having trouble cause i take too many hsort naps or is it that i am unable to get good sleep

I LOVE NAPS!! On the weekend if I take an afternoon nap I feel so much better and then I get more done in the evenings when I am more willing to get things done. Also if you get that nap it a break in your day so you don't feel like you are going and going and going for too long. NAPS ROCK!!!

Yeah, I read somewhere that short naps can revitalize us in between shifts, especially if your work is dragging and needs mental efforts. Some people even suggest that you take a nap for about 5-10minutes, but never longer than that since it will make you more sleepy. On the other hand, nothing beats a good night sleep.

Short naps are good after a full stomach of meals where the body needs some rest.Then it is refreshing.But I think you have some other problem like indigestion.Or you are used to take heavy meals every time or more snacks in between.So,the blood has to concentrate elsewhere and can't reach the brain to be active.Visit a doctor to get relieved from your problem.Cheers!

i dont know what exactly is a "short" nap, but i think it really refreshes me from exhaustion. but i always cannot fall into sleep when i had some sweet naps in the afternoon, then i will wake up very late next morning with very bad temper...so, i really dont know whether it is good or bad.

i dont know about if having short naps is good or bad for health .. but i hope it turns out to be good . coz i for sure take a lot of nap. im having soo much free time these days that i feel sleepy every other moment. on the contrary i have read in newspaper that short naps are good for health. ;) :)
