My wonderful friend, Bobbie, served cheesecake recently after a wonderful light lunch. This home-made cheesecake had a chocolate covering and chunks of chocolate inside. The "cheese" part was so smooth everything just melted in your mouth. You know how that is. I'm still waiting for the recipe so I can publish it in our next cook book. So what's your all time favorite chocolate baked goodie? Who introduced you to it and would you care to share your recipe here?

My favorite chocolate baked goodie is whoopie pies. I love them. Many have said they are the best they have ever tried. I found a recipe on the internet and tweaked it a bit and now have a wonderful recipe. You can find the original recipe by following this link: http://www.wlbz2.com/life/programming/local/207/recipes/story.aspx?storyid=90093&catid=141

Yum! Thanks for the visual there. Isn't cream cheese frosting the best? I love it. Vanilla ice cream on top when the cake is still warm is just to die for. Yeah, now I'm craving too.

I got hungry just reading the description. lol My favorite chocolate baked items are chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and German chocolate cake--I could eat these forever and not get sick of them. I had a recipe for excellent chocolate chip cookies, but I have no idea where it went, which makes me an unhappy camper. :P

Oh, I hope you find that chocolate chip recipe. And, btw, I love German chocolate cake. Might have to go hunting for a good recipe for that. Ah, chocolate.

Chocolate cherry cake with chocolate fudge icing. Total sugar over load! It's easy too. Just take your favorite box mix and instead of the oil and water add a can of low or sugar free cherry pie filling, if a little too thick I add a little milk until the right thickness then bake as regular and ice when cooled.

I love most things made with chocolate. But I am not fond of cheese cake. My favorite thing made from chocolate is brownies. I'm not fussy either, so a box mix is just fine with me.

My favorite is my chocolate cake with cooked chocolate frosting. It's like eating a huge chunk of fudge! And if you pour milk over it it's like eating pudding!!! My second is my coconut oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. For the unbaked chocolate goodie it has to be my quickie fudge. It is so fast and easy and it doesn't turn out gainy like so many fudge recipies...YUM! I am drooling right now, and wondering if I have the two ingredients I need to make it....

Molten Chocolate Cake is my absolute favorite baked chocolate desert. The ooey gooey inside and the warm cakey outside is a heavenly combination! My mother makes a delicious version from scratch that is not too sweet, and is in the perfect personal proportions - I love it!

Oh I love this too. I think TGIF or AppleBee's serve this up. But it's probably not as good as your mom's.

I am really not to picky or sophisticated when it comes to chocolate sweets or baked goods. Personally chocolate cakes and brownies are really my favorities. My sister used to make a chocolate cake with a chocolate fudge icing for my birthday each year that really just filled my chocolate quota for a month....oooo, that reminds me, good fudge is another favorite, but I have yet to find any one that was as good as what my mother used to make.

Oh that cheese cake sounds delicious! I can just imagine it in my mind. I tried to make a cheese cake recently but it didn't turn out as planned... i burnt the crust and it seemed like there was way too much cheese in it. It was a fruit cheese cake though so there wasn't many other flavors covering up the taste of just the plain cream cheese. When i'm making chocolate i love to make rich things. I love make fudge (main ingredients are semi-sweet chocolate, condensed milk, marshmallows, sugar, butter, and nuts if you want.) I've been wanting to experiment lately and try out white chocolate with some mint extract, or using maple syrup somewhere in the process and making maple fudge. There really are not boundaries when making fudge cause you can put whatever you want in it. Another chocolate recipe that i enjoy making is simple chocolate brownies. It involves the usual brownie ingredients (flour, coco powder, butter, eggs etc) The trick that i do at the end is put chocolate chips in the batter right before I put it into the pan. This makes the brownies extra fudgey when it cools after you take it out of the oven. Enjoy!

Truth be told I love chocolate and anything that has chocolate in it or on it is usually subject to me eating it. Although I must say, I have stopped eating just straight chocolate and now I prefer something like pecans or peanuts with it, but if I had to choose an all time favorite I guess it would be chocolate brownies with pecans in them. I don't really have a special recipe for them. I usually just use Betty Crocker.

Mmm chocolate is my favorite! To make any chocolate cake or brownies so much more rich, I suggest adding 1/2 cup of sour cream, and then a packet of jello instant chocolate pudding! My favorite chocolate baked goodie has to be brownies! :-)

Oh, thanks for the tip. I will try adding sour cream to the chocolate cake in a mug recipe. Mine came out a little crunchy inside. This sounds like a perfect solution. Thanks.

Hey there! That sounds like a delicious dessert! I think my all-time favorite baked chocolate goodie is the double fudge brownie. My mom introduced me to it and ever since I was a kid, that was my favorite chocolate dessert. I don't have the recipe though.

I don't usually like chocolate. I used to when I was younger and eat it all the time. I think I made myself sick of it. Now, the only baked chocolate thing I like is chocolate mousse cake. I don't know the recipe.

Yum! I'm craving now, sounds delicious. I love brownie especially the one that was given to me and was baked by my partner, that was so so so... delicious! i love brownie sprinkled with nuts on top, with mini kisses too and not so sweet to eat. It drives me so nuts when i ate those twelve pieces straight.lol I just love brownie so much even though my physician advised me to avoid sweets. I just can't help. I hope i know how to bake that goodie and share it to you guys.
