Have you tried snap peas? Costco has a nice sized bag of these and I just put them in boiling water until they are bright green then we eat them by the handful cold. What a great snack and good for your diet.

I love them straight from the garden. When I grow them they don't even make it into the house, I eat them as I'm picking them. Sweet as candy and obviously much better for you. Yum!

I used to grow them and your right! They are good even raw! LO! I'd used them in my Wok, when doing Asian food, and I liked to make them with the small (cocktail) onions with a light cheese sauce over them! ave fun while their in season! tdemex

I have grown them and have also bought them. They are also called sugar snap peas. Anything that makes it easy to do more veggies is a winner.

They are delicious, my favourite way to eat snap peas is raw, but they are also very tasty in a variety of dishes. One way I love to have them is is slightly fried in olive oil and garlic, with a little seasoning as a side dish with grilled meat or fish. The advantage of snap peas is they always give a fresh taste to a meal.

Hi Pat, yes, I love snap peas, plain as you do, and also cold in salads. They have a such a fresh taste when eaten this way and are full of a lot of fiber and healthy nutrients. I love to use them lightly stir fried in a bit of olive oil, too, with other veggies. Karen
