If you have one hour left to live, how sould you spend it?

Death comes like a thief in the night. We do not know when it will actually come. If I were given the capability to know that I would die in an hour, I would call my family, especially my mama & my papa, to be with them, and pray with them, and thank them for everything they have done for me. If you were given this chance, what would you do?

It is not an easy question. Firstly, I will call my parents, my friends to let them know I feel hornor and worthy to have them during my life. Secondly, I would write an short letter which contains the main thought from myself about how I think about the whole world and the human being. Finally, I would spend left flash time with my parents.

Thanks for the response my friend. You haven't mentioned about any siblings of yours. Does it mean you're an only child?

Yup. You're right. I forgot mentioning my siblings. I am the only child in the family, you know, mainly because the contolling policy conduted in China since about 20 years ago. I do would say goodbye to my brothers and sisters (children of my uncles or aunts).

If given choice, I would like to die immediately rather than waiting for an hour. That feels easy when compared to spend the very small period of time. That one hour will be surely full of cries, tears, pains and all. Who want to bear all those things before dying? It is better to die the next moment. At least we can die in piece.

well, you would not mind having not said goodbye to your loved ones?

See xenna, If they know that you are going to die within an hour, they become more emotional. If they don't know, they cry for a while and accept that. And moreover, I will not be going to any tour or vacation to say them good bye and they give me a hearty farewell. I will not return back. So compared to those scenarios, it is very better to die soon.

i will definitely spend it with my loved ones and try to say sorry to the people that i had hurt the feelings before in the past... also, i will try to spread the gospel to my family members who i know haven't heard about Jesus before so that they can receive the grace of salvation from Him as well... take care and have a nice day...

This is very difficult question, you know what we can do in an hour we just enjoy that movement with our family but who will enjoy and cheer up for us when they will get news that I will die after 1 hour. they will cry , but we have to convience them to give joy before we die. this is not good question to ask.

thank you for your comment my friend. I think it's pretty normal for parting times to be sad and awkward. It actually depends on a person if he thinks he has lived theworld the way he wanted it to be and has been contented, acceptance will follow as not that difficult. We do not really know when would life be over for each of us, but still, it is part of every man's reality.

This is the first unique answered I have heard. From Which country are you from, my friend? I heard some stories on organ donation. It is actually a bold act. Here in the Philippines, the idea of donation is not really that accepted yet.

If I had only one hour to live, I would spend it with my husband and my kids, I would try to give all the reminders that I can to my husband, I will try to make sure that my kids will be provided for even when I am already gone. I will hug my babies tight and tell them how much I love them. One hour is so short for goodbyes...

If I have only an hour to live, I will take my loved ones to a luxury lunch or dinner( depending the 1 hours on which part of the day). Make all of them happy and see them all for one last time with full of happiness! I won't tell anyone including my husband that I'm gonna die. I don't want any sad look on anyone for my last rememberance!

i'd rather fix all my things in place...tell my family what i want on my burial and how i want it to go about..call all my close friends but ofcourse, i wouldn't tell them that i'm dying...and when i'll see that everything's going to be ok, i want to have a moment of my own in the place where i would finally take my last breath... and just leave everything to god!

I would spend half of it talking, hugging and kissing my son. Telling him how much I love him and maybe writing a letter for him to read when he's older. The second thing, is I would invite my closest friends and family over and tell each how important they were to my life. Then in the last few minutes I would want to make love with my man. Go out the right way!

If i knew i was about to die, I would grab my children, and go to my familys and let them know how much i love them, and thank them for everything theyve ever done for me. I would find a place my children would be able to grow and learn, and be safe, and then i would probably have to find a way to get overseas and spend my last minutes with my husband. That man means the world to me, and if i had only moments to live, i would want to spend them with him. I would take my children, but its way too dangerous to take them overseas to war, and if i were dieing anyways, it wouldnt matter if i were killed on the way.

If I had one hour left I wish I could be calm so I wont be crying and I coud be able to talk. I would tell all my family and my close friend that I love them and I would hug and kiss the all and I think I would be with kids all that hour and at the end I would also hug and kiss them so I would be able to be with them till my last minute.

well, definitely it has to be with the family. i would go back home and spend the time with all my family members, the extended family included. i would just sit and talk with them and would like to close my eyes with all of them around me. it would be disappointing to be away from our people during the last moments of your life.
