Whether in your adolescence or at some point of your lives, have you ever encountered an identity crisis? Have you ever faced the question 'Who am I?' Don't you think all of us,at some stage of our lives, face this dilemma where we question our own identities in this world?

I think identity crisis is not only a question of who am i or what is my part in this life or whatever like that. Losing identity in this case is about the confidence crisis. I believe that it will be happened on everybody whenever they failed on doing something. Usually the problem is about work. So i think self-motivation and confidence are important for identity developing on someone. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I think our perception of our own identity changes throughout our lives so it seems natural that there may be many times when we queston it. The transformation from child to adult... maybe becoming part of a couple... a parent... We take on so many roles and identities that it can be difficult to work out which one is the 'real me'. I'm still working on that one - I suppose its a composite of everyone we ever became. (Does that make any sense???)

Our society, made up mostly of conformists, misguides us more than it leads to the right path. Knowing the self is the first and the foremost duty and responsibility of each of us, as intellectual humans. This requires free thinking and hence a lot of courage. Our society forbids us from having and nurturing our ego, and this prevents us from knowing ourselves. This leads to an identity crisis for an individual. Else, there is no possibility of an identity crisis, because it the easiest thing to know oneself. For sure, I never faced any identity crisis at any stage of my life, although I had the faced both the good and bad days of my life.
