Here is one of the most interesting, intriguing and most controversial discussion of all times. What do you think about having an extra marital affair???
DO you think that its ok to have an affair even after you are married??? or do you think that It is a crime to be involved in such a relationship after marriage??
Is it illegal ?

it is indeed illegal because it happened outside the marriage. When you get married, you vow to each other that you'll love each other for better or for worse and that you won't leave your pair. It also broke 2 of the ten commandments. Thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife, male/female slave, or anything that belongs to your neighbor and thou shall not commit adultery. Is that enough proof that it is illegal?Ü

Totally in agreement with you. But in this ultramodern and filthy rich society, people act like this is a way of life and like there is nothing with that sort of a thing!
Maybe there should be a law against extra marital affairs!

I think you know the answer of the question, before seeking other's opinion
. As the words suggest 'extra marital', anything which is beyond law and is not accepted by the Society is illegal. One gets married to stay with a partner, however, if s/he gets distracted and indulge in a relationship outside his/her marriage, it is not a healthy state of affairs, as s/he disturbs his/her family atmosphere. Ruining one's family life for the sake of someone, with whom you are not legally wedded will be called an illegal practice. All said and done, knowing fully well it is illegal, people indulge in such practices, keeping aside ethics and society norms.

I don't think it is against the law, except maybe in some stern Muslim countries? There is nothing criminal against it; but it can be used against you by your spouse while suing for divorce. You can have as many extra marital partners as you like; you won't go to jail for it.
Whether it is morally right or wrong depends on the person talking or thinking about it.

Here positive minded said the right thing as this is not against the law of the nature, could be against closed minded people like you. I am really sorry to let you know that, Honestly, I am not bothered about your thoughts on my knowledge or what you think about the kind of person I am and whether you think I am a "closed minded person" or the opposite! I mean , It's not like I'm gonna marry you right?? So Lets Just keep it to the Original Topic than myself!
If you are so very interested in discussing about me rather than the basic topic you can start your own discussion about what you think about me and your thoughts on my personality! I missed the old time where ppl can get more than 1 wife. If 1st wife is not as good as she was, get a 2nd wife and ask the 1st wife to do the work which the maid should do it. If 2nd wife not good, get a 3rd wife. As long as you have enough money to feed them. Nothing can be judge good or bad in this world.

I guess the old times when, if you just do not like your 1st wife , you marry another one and make the 1st wife work as a maid is horrible!!!!
It is the most degradable way of life and the husband i should say is some kind of a physco!! He has absolutely no right to treat anyone like that!
I am amazed that times of that sort even existed!!!
I should say the modern times are far better of, like when you are not getting on well, you juz get separated by a divorce, rather than the horrible slave stuff!!

I think that it is wrong no I know that is is worng to have more than one partner especialy y you are married. I would never be able to be with more than one person I have never done it. It has happend to me in my previous relationship and I hated it and that is the main reason it never worked.

Well, I don't think an extra marital affair is right...but I don't think it's illegal either. I mean....you aren't arrested or anything for it. But my principles and values say it is wrong...but I also know of situations where there are justifications for it.....but I still feel that a person needs to get out of a marriage in order to pursue another relationship with another person.

Yes, it is illegal because you get married under the law and extra-marital affairs is breaking that law. It is not a crime though, more of a civil offense. I believe that adultery is a ground for divorce. I do not think it is ok to have an affair after you are married, you have made a vow before the altar to remain faithful to your spouse and having an affair is not being faithful

In my personal opinion whether it is illegal or not I do not know but this is definitely cheating to your spouse.because as we are tied up with some one we should not stick or like to another if any problem is going on then they should separate after that they should go for another partner.

i think, it is a crime. in the first place why marry someone you don't really love? when you're really not contented with them? knowing that you're husband/wife is having an affair with someone else within your marriage is really painful... i suggest that before committing with someone, think twice to prevent such problems... because we might end up hurting them and ourselves as well =)

Well i should say the answer to why people marry someone they don't really love is for their money probably sometimes!!
Thats the reason why these kinds of practices are more prevalent in the filthy rich society!

i wouldnt call it illegal ... but it is morally wrong... why get married if your going to have affairs ... just save everyone the pain and just dont get married.... a person that has an affair isnt ready for marriage

I think if a person is having a affair something is wrong with their marriage. As far as it being illegal, there are now cases that women have sued the other person for braking up their marriage.

of course an extramarital affair is illegal that once proven in court it is a ground for a divorce and maybe an annulment. the willing party can also be subjected to court proceedings which means a criminal record and an ensuing humiliating investigation. there is a contract signed in a marriage. although am only speaking for some cultures...

it is definitely illegal for it against the law of God and of man. DISRESPECTFUL,UNJUST for the wife or husband.
Pray & ask for the right person that you will marry so that in the end you will not go some extras.
BE CONTENTED for what you have.
