Do you keep old photos?

Recently, I read in a newspaper a nearby park is soliciting old photos for its grand celebration. All through my life, I have taken pictures there, in my childhood, during my teenage, after graduation, my son's one month... These photos witness the long history of the park. I will not lose the chance. Do you keep old photos?

I have enherited some old old pictures from around the 40'2 and 50's that belonged to my grandmother. I also have some cute ones of my daughter and grandkids. I have kept a school picture for each year while my daughter was in school. Fun to watch the change each year and down through the years.

Our family has always kept photos. Several of us were shutter bugs at one time or another. As long has photography has been around our family has taken advantage of being immortalized. I have boxes of really old photos from over 100 hears ago of my ancestors. I recently started getting all the old photos scanned to share with other family members and preserve them for even more generations.

Hello zhuhuifen46, I don't really keep old photos and I am really regret about it. I have a few albums of my old photos but they are incomplete. When my son was born, I started to take his photos and keep them in my computer. Unfortunately, without realizing it, my husband deleted some of the important photos. It really broke my heart as I don't keep the photos anywhere else.

I do! Those are the most precious memory of my childhood! Those days, we dont have digital pics like today. Once gone we have to go look for the negative and all, the hassle! Today, photos are easily available and stored. But I still cherish most the pictures of yesterdays and yes, I do still keep them.

I keep old photos. It's a good way of treasuring memories. We can see the before and after of ourselves, our families and our friends. It's fun relieving memories.

Yes, we have old pictures from long ago like when my mother was a little girl. I have one picture of my mother who is 84 years old when is probably in the first grade. My mother's youngest sister has the rest of the pictures of my mother but she won't let us have them. I also have a picture of my daddy when he is about 10 years old and he would be 83 years old if he was still living today. I treasure these old pictures. Have a great day.

I don't keep old photos. I have only very few photos taken when I was a kid and during my studies. We didn't have a good album or a nice place to keep the picutres. I am so surprised to see pictures of my friends when they were babies. I miss my childhood and school days when I see that because I don't have any pictures to think about that. I didn't take care of them, so I lost them.

Yes, my family keeps our old photos as well. Although some have been submitted with our school projects back when we're still studying. But I can still provide some better pictures if we have that kind of SOLICITING OLD PHOTOS contest.

When I saw other people's old photos,I am always full of envy.Because I don't have the old photos of my own.Sometimes I complain to my parents that they should have kept my photos which can remind me of my childhood.Unfortunately, they told me all the photos disappeared when we moved.I can do nothing to get them back.I totally believe the old photos are a witness which record our different life at the past.Sometimes the old things just flowed swiftly you can't even have time to enjoy. The photo can recall our memery. The old photos have gone but now I try to keep the new one.

Absolutely! I keep each and every photo. The only ones I don't keep are ones with my thumb in em hahaha. To me, looking over life in photos is a nice way to remember the past: where we've been, how we dressed, and it's our own little pictoral history. Some photos, like those of my parents, and other relatives who are no longer here, I have put into scrap books to commemorate their lives and show all kinds of different sides to their personalities. I think old pics are great!

I keep all my photographs, you never know when and who will be interested in them. Also to just look back and just see how things change are interesting.

Yeah, absolutely. Still have my old school days of when I was a child even in my own purse! lol. They make the best memories in a conventional way, which to me is really sweet compared to these days digital photography thing (which I'm not saying is bad either). But old photos are great all right!

I want to keep old photos, but I do not have many old photos. When I was a little child, my family was very poor,we do not have much money to take photos. My oldest photo was took at the age of 10,then I was grade three in primary school.I wore the school uniform in the photo.Old photos keep many messages in the past time. When we read them in the future, they can remind us a lot of happy or unfotgettable things. When we grow old,we can share our past with our next generation. Now,when I take photos ,I will keep it and share them with my friends.
