I have some cosmetics, and I put it in a box one year ago. However, when I look for other thing in the morning I find the cosmetics, it is overdue, and I forget about it. Can I still use it? You know, it was very expensive when I bought it, and I do not want to throw it away. Maybe for some cosmetics, it is OK when it is overdue. Maybe I could use it for a month after the deadline.

Hi, colydf. I don't think you still can use the cosmetics when it is already expired. I believe it can cause certain damages to us when we use the expired things. Just like we don't eat expired food. Using expired cosmetics might cause allergies to your skin. And i hope you would not like to see this. It's better to throw away and as you said, you have not used for such a long time till you totally forget its existence. So, it would really bother you if you throw away. Just pretend you had never found it. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Probably you could... But I don't think it's safe and don't understimate the dameges that overdue cosmetics can take. If you have a very sensitive skin, like me, in addition, it could be even worst :( So maybe next time try to buy smaller package if you can... But again, it would be better not to use the product you said are overdue

I don't think that it will hurt. I have some makeup that is over a year old that i use. As long as it was not under extreme temperatures at any point then it should be fine.

Its better not to use those makeups that is already been expired. It is not safe for your skin and at the same time you can get a skin allergy. That is why it is not advise to buy bulky or big makeup. Use small makeup pallets or better try on mineral makeup because they don't expire easily. I know that makeup are so expensive these days and we can't do anything once they got expired. I won't risk my self to use an expired makeup. So i won't be able to give it to others too, since what is bad for my skin will also be bad on theirs.
