I'm left slightly confused by your post. Why, as a white woman, would you instantly make better decisions than a woman of another race or any man? I can understand confidence but I don't understand how you are coming to that conclusion...?

Good example of sarcasm. Race or ethnic group should not make one a better at life decisions. Of course, us white women would be called nasty names if we decided to run for office. Sounds rather unfair to me. Who knows maybe you had to struggle to get ahead. And why is our struggle less noticeable then that racist favor giving Latino judge who wanted only those of blacks and Latino to get promoted?

I guess it is fear of being called a racist. For instance, if I said that I am proud that I am white, part German (Bach was German) part Welsh (think of all the Welsh singers and part English (well there was Queen Elizabeth the 1st and others) I would be called a racist. Yet if a black person says that he is proud of being black, it is all right. Well I am not ashamed that my ancestors or my background and I am not ashamed to say so. Thanks for the best response.
