Thats a big question the moment in creation when god decided the woman should have the kids ,I would have stepped in and modified the mans bits, not to much change ,just an extra orifice and a womb.Don't panick mate I like men. Then they could have the stretch marks ,droopy boobs, ect.I would be quite happy to stay at home to look after the baby I am not totally selfish.

Even if I were a Christian , i wouldn't want to meet Jesus. I don't want to waste His time.My answer changes. Right now I would want to go back to 1969 and both go to Woodstock and make it with Jim Morrison. I just re saw the movie The Doors and I fell for him all over again.

Great discussion, What a good question? I would like to go back to the era of preliminary discoveries and inventions, times of Charles darwin, Galileo, Albert Einstein, Newton. I am sure the era would have been so exciting, their contributions affected so many peoples lives. The way they contributed themselves to science. OR I would like to go back to the period of Alexander, Napoleon Bonaparte, Bahadur shah zafar etc etc. They had great leadership skills, even these people altered the lifestyles of so many. OR I would like to go back to era of primitive man, when thinking was considered to be priviledge. I always find myself questioning the traditions and beliefs that lasted for so many years, surely would like to find out how it all begun.

What era will I go back to. I think to the 50s as a kid so I could be with Frank and have fun during the 60s together. Other than that, I love the times I am living in, this is my time the way I figure.

I would like to go back to Roman occupied Britain and meet Boudicca. There is so much we don't know about the Boudiccan revolt, and so much that is only recorded from the point of view of the Roman's that it would be wonderful to go and see just what this women, who has becom such a mixed icon and symbol of courage in the face of certain disaster, was really like.

There doesn't seem to be an easy answer to this... Possible the time frame when Jesus lived, however you would have had to be living in the right place to even get a glimpse of Jesus. During the period of the Roman Empire and Cleopatra would have been very interesting, but I might have ended up being a slave, so I have to rule that out. Wars and the plague seemed to be the scourge during many time periods in Europe, so the Middle Ages wouldn't have been much fun. "Ring around the rosie, a pocket full of poseys, ashes to ashes we all fall down" this little ryme was composed during the time of the black plague. Would I have liked to sail with Columbus, I don't think so in those old sailing ships that bounced like a cork during a storm. Maybe during the American Revolutionary War (I had several ancestors who participated), but I wouldn't have liked to be a Tory and the new colonies were broke and times were tough for some time after the War of Independence. It would have been exciting, but I don't think I would have liked the hardships. It could have been very interesting to travel with Daniel Boone through Virginia and Kentucky, but look out for the Indians. The Civil War period was quite devestating for the South and every young man, both north and south wanted to get into the fray before the war was over. To be at Gettysburg during Abe Lincoln's speech would have been great, but it only lasted a few moments. I wouldn't have wanted to be struggling up the hill and being shot at by the Yanks like my great grandfather from Mississippi did (he was wounded, went down, and captured about 20 yards from the stone wall) that was a terrible war. World War II was exciting to a youngster, we collected and baled newspapers while in the Boy Scouts and earned our way to summer camp. We collected tin cans, aluminum, used frying grease, old tires and anything that would help the war effort. Patriotism was at it's peak! I think I would like to relive the time span right after WWII and before I went into service before the korean War. I guess I'll choose that time frame, everyone was excited and families were reunited and our soldiers all came home.

i would only want to go back in time if i could come back to the present time and be with my loved ones otherwise i would not do it at all. this is a hard question. i would like to go back to the victorian days in the united states when there were large mansions and women dressed in those big, beautiful dresses and people acted proper and polite. i don't know if there is anyone in particular that i would necessarily care to meet or at least i cannot think of anyone right now but i have always been intrigued with that time period.

I don't think I'd want to go back any more than 70 years. You see, I'm accustomed to the modern conveniences and do not want to give up my electric iron and automatic washer. Seventy years ago, I was a child of five. I wouldn't mind reliving that carefree time. I promise that I'd pay more attention to my parents' and grandparents' advice. I'd pay more attention to world events, also.

I think I would like to go back to the pioneer days to see how women did it all. The Victorian age would have been interesting too. I like the old fashioned ways so either one would be fun for me. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Wonderful discussion, ronnyb! I think I'd like to have met the great southern gothic authors in the first half of the 20th century. Their works are so amazing! They were gone by the time I was old enough to read their books. Wow! Is there really something for which I'm too young???
