real name in mylot

There are certain people from my past that are looking for my true location, I guess you could say trolls but in real like...So I can not give out that information because of safety reason.. Its not just for my sake but for the sake of my son.. Your second question, yes I know a couple people's real name but I will not give that information out either.. I would not want to break that trust.. Yes it would be nice if we all could share our real names.. Then we would know who we are talking to.. But at the same time mylot would get very boring in my opinion.. Why?? There are may subjects that people are normally not willing to write or express an opinion on because of the fact they are shy or do not want others to look down on them for the way they feel.. Nice idea but I think it would really hurt mylot in the end..

my name is real, but it's only my english name,lol...cause i have my chinese name. and my pic is also real one, it's really my smiling faces, wink... i dont know anyone's real name, here. but i hope i can know more real names and get more true friends here.

Because they told me their real names. 3) do u want to keep your real name as a secret? why? It is more fun to hide behind a username then you can be whomever you want to be i think we should share our real names here for a better relationship? what do u think? I don't see the purpose of everyonme sharing their real names or their real locations anywhere on the internet. there are just too many whackos online.

To answer ALL your questions, myLot says we're NOT supposed to give out any personal information here. So, what is real & what isn't remains between me & myLot!!! As for learning members' names, after we get to know each other here, some get to know each other in real life. At that point it is out of the realm of myLot. According to myLot, we're not to use real names here so NO I don't think we should; but, if you choose to, that's your business!!!

I do not use my real name in mylot, because it is too big of a community with too many people from all over. If it were a smaller community with most people using their names, I probably would. But, I don't keep complete annonimity as my name can be found through my writing sites. I think sharing names would make for a better relationship. I usually go by the site. If is that kind of site I will use my name, but if it is a site filled with lots of people and mostly fly by night people, I will just use a screen name.

I keep my real name out of discussion...why? I really have no clue but sometimes when I pm my friends, I sign it with my real name...I do know a few of fellow mylotters real names but that is because 1 of them was a friend I referred & the others through them signing their real name in pms & email swapping outside of mylot

Hi shibham! I do use my real name here. It's shortened in my screen name from Jenny to Jen. I do know a few mylotters on a first name basis. There are some here that have become my very close friends. They have offered their names in PMs and in discussions before. I have been thankful to know them.

I use my real name in registering to Mylot but my user name here in this discussion is definitely an alias. it up for them to guess. I think everyone here is using an alias or their nicknames just to protect their privacy. But, I read some discussion where they have their own stalker. How disgusting, Isn't it? That's is why it is still better to remain anonymous.

A cat is a cat. It hardly makes any difference if w=you do not call it a cat and call it a tiger rather. I know 95% of the names here are makeshift let alone the avatar. So asking for real name is looking for Golds in the Ganges. Be happy what you are with.

Hello, I don't use the name I was born with, because using a site name makes things a little bit more intresting, and that is just my opinion, besides what would be the nessesaty for us to use our real name, as long as we have names that others can identify us by, I say that should be good enough, only when the name you use is used all the time, for exsample you start off with everyone knowing you as pedal01 the next week you change your name to motorist99. hey hi am using my real name. and its amar. and i know one of the mylotter's name but dont know how far it is true. in mylot only i send msgs and he replied and like that i came to know his name. he call me brother.so got one brother. i dont want to hide my real name.becoz here we are not doing anything wrong just posting.and hiding real name is a blunder mistake especially in these kind of sites. thanks

No, I am not using my real name here in Mylot. I think I'm keeping my real name under the shadows for my safety and privacy. I would like to keep my real name as a secret. But I guess, when it comes to dealing with people online, names doesn't matter. Some brave people here in Mylot use their real names. I admire them but I don't really like using my real name here.

I use my original name here and in all the forums I participate. I had a brief, because it is too long. I was given the name by their parents when born. There is no reason for me to hide. By using the original name, make it easy my friends to recognize and communicate. Even without the presumed I met with old friend who has disappeared. I am confident using my original name. Hi, I don't use my real name here and in other sites that I join, because I don't think it's necessary and safe. Unfortunately, there are really some people who will take advantage of one's personal information and do harm - I don't wanna be a victim. I coined the name I use here from the combined names of my parents, and it seem to sound good and appears like a real name, so I'm fine with it.

No.Here at mylot I have used the nickname that my friends made out of my name in school.My real name is Oindrila. I think this name sounds cuter and easy to type in too every time I log in to mylot.I have no problems with sharing my name with others.There is no use keeping it a secret unless of course you do not want someone to recognise you,someone you do not like,may be. I know the real names of two other mylotters here.One I came to know through chatting.The other is a person whose task I completed and when I got paid by him through paypal(there were some problems with the task here at mylot),I came to know his full name.
