Are you happy with your current home/accomodation?

Hello, I have bought my own apartment almost three years ago now, it is a 3 bedroomed flat with country views. The size is good compared with the apartments being constructed today and here the prices are really high.I would have preferred to have my own home but that really costs a lot and am already very tied with this big commitment that was still pricey. Yesterday I was watching a tv program on houses in Spain and there were really beautiful houses with sea views that were the same price as my apartment. I was astonished to see such low prices of dream houses. Are you happy with your current home? what is you dream house and is it possible that one day you'll finally fulfill your dream? Thanks for you opinion. Have a great day!

My future house - Dream house come true
This is the house that has been introduced by my friend. It's not really a dream house for all. But for me it would be okay and qualified as a dream house. In my dreams I really wanted to own a house with small forest in the backyard, with playground and garden around. In the front there is a small shed for relaxation and meditation place. There are healthy and colorful flowers, with butterflies of different sizes and colors. I love to see a landscape on it, a miniature forest on it, with falls and springs where water flows. A big aquarium beside the medium pool is also perfect for the view. Oh there are a lot of things I want in my dream house. This is just a dream that hope it would come true. Well sine it's free to dream so let's all build a palace in our dream. Who knows someday it will come true![/em]

Yes, a garden could provide you a fresh air and healthy surroundings! From here you could relax and take a rest. Or you can have your good exercise while removing those unwanted grasses and weeds. There are a lot of advantages of having a garden.***_***_@@@@_@@@@

No, i am not happy with the current place i am in. Since we are just renting it, i don't like the place and it really needs a lot of renovation, but i won't, i would rather go somewhere else than to change it. Second, we still need to save money and buy our own place so that I can at least have pets i like and smell the air with no issues because this place is still polluted. I want a place near a beach or a tourist spot. I also like a place where it is a center for commercial and there are malls. It may be a city or central with people. I don't know, but i have been a city girl ever since. Happy Mylotting.

I find it useless to renovate a house that is not yours, you have to make an effort and spend money for nothing. Good luck with saving.

Living alone unfortunately brings a lot of expenses like utility bills, food, etc. But I love being independent now.

I am very happy with the current home where I reside now, it is an individual house and not an apartment. I am very happy as I am able to grow my own plants in the small lawn and backyard now which I could not do when I was in an apartment.

Hi! No, not really happy with current home at this time. But it does have a roof over my head, and i am out of the weather. All in all it will work until we can do better, and that really is all that matters for us right now.

I am already contented with what my parents has given to us. A nice home for the entire family is truly a remarkable gift that my parents has given to us. I am actually in the process of saving these days in order to renovate my bedroom. I want to install a room airconditioner for my room. I think it would cost me a lot in renovating my room. It's just a small dream of mine to renovate my room and to have a nice room to sleep. I think after I renovate my room, I will again save money in order to partly renovate our house. I just hope and pray that I can do it in order for my parents to be happy...

You are luck then. To renovate your house yourself would also make you proud to having done it yourself with your hard earned money. Good luck!

I can say I'm quite satisfied with our condo unit. It's big enough for us. However, I sometimes get irritated whenever my mom accommodates a lot of visitors. It gets really messy afterwards and not to mention the noise which I'm quite annoyed at.

Visitors may create some mess if they are not disciplined. Thanks for your reply.

Hi dolphin! I think before we buy i house, we should be really like all of its aspect. You must like the vicinity, the interiors or exterior. Because this is a big and long commitment of payment. Me, i lived with my family in a small house. We are just renting it. Though its hard to pay, we somehow get by and happy with what we have. We still consider our home as a blessing. Happy mylotting!

Yes, I am happy with my current home. It is within the city yet in a not polluted area. My house is medium-sized. I like it that way, not too big yet not small either. I especially like the overall design of my house. It is very relaxing. That is why I love spending time in my house rather than go out sometimes. But I would also like to have a house in another country, like Paris or some romantic European country. It has always been a dream of mine and I hope someday it could come true. I want to retire in Paris.

Sometimes its more important to be happy with what you have and you need to make the house as your home with what you love and at least it will be pleasing when you go in and welcoming. Sometimes too big houses tend to feel cold and empty. Good luck with your dream maybe it will come true.

Well it has been a long time (approximately 6 years) since my mother had the idea to build her dream house, and now that it has come to fruition, I can only say I am extremely proud to live in this magnificent home. It is located in a very scenic area of the island, and affords a nice view of the sea and a nearby golf course. The only thing I miss, is that it is quite quiet around here and there is a lack of Public Transportation since the area is very residential. Good topic and happy myLotting!

Well I love quite areas and you are lucky to have sea views. I love the sea and that's what I had wished but apartments with sea view are very expensive. Maybe in the future you can have your car and would be more easy to travel. Thanks for your response. Have a nice day! I should be going to work now

Oh that's great at least you already have the house, finishing it may take time but it will be a joy to see it come true by time.

I bought my own condominium last year and just moved in 3 months ago - a 3 bedroom condominium unit. It came together with furnitures and some electrical items; which don't fit into my home concept at all. I always dream to have an English Cottage with all the English Design. To make the best out of it, I'd refurbished the condo like painting the dining table from brown to white, plain colour curtains to floral curtains, etc. I am very comfortable with my home now. Having an English Cottage is still my dream but it is difficult to fulfill in my country...

I have bought second hand furniture since I couldn't afford to buy new one yet, it's good though but I don;t like the kitchen. I need to save some money and decorate a bit but until then I have all commodities for now so I'm happy with that. Have a nice day!
