This happens very frequently when we have to travel without prior preparations, especially during emergencies. With Two wheelers its comparitively easy to push it to the nearest fuel station. But with four wheelers its tough work. Have you ever been stuck in such situations? How did u solve the problem?

Luckily, I never experience such situation. I always see to it that my fuel is enough for my travel. There was one instant where I almost run out of gas, but along the way, there was this gas station. So, I never had this situation where I was in a middle of nowhere with no fuel.

I, myself, have not ran out of gas in the middle of a trip, but I would be lying if I didn't say I haven't been on trips with others when the ran out of gas. Although, I think the last time this happens was something like 12 years ago or so. It was when my dad got his SUV and he wanted to see exactly how long a full tank would last in his car, so he filled it and drove it until we ended up stuck alongside the freeway. He called my mom and she brought him a couple gallons of gas.

This happened two me two weeks ago. My bike stopped on the way back to home from church on a Sunday. There was no petrol bunk nearby. So, I parked the bike, took an auto to the nearest petrol bunk, got a liter of petrol and came back to the place where I parked the bike. I was very irritated and disappointed with the event.

Yeah I think just once since the family is extra prepped for trips. I remember when I was in the states another family and ours were on a trip to Las Vegas from near San Fransisco. Our car ran out of gas somewhere on the desert high way and the last gas stop we passed was 20ish miles away. Thank god that the other family we were traveling with didn't drive too far ahead and they came back with a canister of gas. Eventually we made it to Vegas and had a very good time. But it was a bit scary being stranded on an empty highway far away from civilization.

I know bikes can come with enlarged fuel tanks now. Try having a shop custom install a reserve tank or two. Like they use on planes. Fuel can get old so you would have to use the reserve tanks sometimes but it would work.
