There's nothing wrong with Community College. In fact, if you really wanna get in a good prestigious school - you should try the community college! At least then you can say in high school, you did average. In Junior College you did above and beyond average - that way you'll get in a prestigious school. I honestly do think that's the best route for you. However, if you really wanna go to a University (and spend all that cash), I'm sure there are private universities that will take you. Just apply - you will never know til' you apply. Good luck!! P.S. Don't give up on your university dreams - education is one thing that they can't take away from you!

Well, one thing you can do if you don't want go to community college is taking AP tests. They cost 80 dollars each and anyone can take them, but those in AP classes usually get to take them for free. If you pass, get a 3 out of the possible 5, it looks really good to the colleges you're applying to. Furthermore, if you get a 3 or better, some college allow you skip English 101, History 101, ect. They think you're profeicent enough and you enter college with credits. I was in an AP English class, took the test, passed and entered university with three credits.

here in my country, anybody can go to a university regardless of their grades as long as they have money for the tuition. we have lots of universities here that accepts students even with low grades. if you pass the entrance exam then you get accepted.
