How many of you all here note down if any idea comes to your mind or you just let it go and think about it some other time. Even i taught of the same thing but later noticed that its very hard to recall what idea was into my mind. So now i carry a small diary with me whenever any idea comes to my i note it down in the diary and later execute it. Anybody there who note down idea or taughts that come to mind. Share your experience. HAPPY MYLOTTING

It really depends on what I'm thinking. If it's just an idea, I'll just assure myself I'll still know it later (and then I don't). If it's a name, number, or something I need to remember to get something done, I'll have to write it down and tape it somewhere. Otherwise I'll completely forget! I have the memory of a goldfish...I can be thinking something, but then a person can snap their fingers and it'll be gone. All my notes are written on note pads or post-its. Then I just stick them places. If I had a diary, I would write things down and then forget I had a diary. :)

There is one other thing I do sometimes if I have computer access. I'll send myself an email to remind me of something later. When I went to college I'd do this. I'd be in a campus library and send myself an email to remind myself of an assignment or certain page numbers to look up in texts...then at home, I'd see the email. It's a nifty little idea. :)

You know you are right. I had experienced so many times, wherein an idea would come up to my mind and just let it stay there. After a couple of hours, I could not anymore recall what it was. And yes, it is a good idea to write down ideas you have in mind. Currently, that is what I am doing, and it is really a big help. Have a nice day !!!

i'm too lazy to note down anything that come cross me at that time. i know it's good to note something down and it's impossible for people to remember everything that happen . Maybe i will follow the way you are carring and take a diary to mark down some useful thigs.

I have always wanted to do that, but I don't think I am the type of person who is so efficient to note down things fast enough to enjoy whatever that is going on. I don't like the idea of carrying recorder to record. So, notepad in the mobile phone should do the job nicely... but then again, do we want to spend our time noting down things, instead of being in the moment with friends who are talking, or enjoying the scenery around. I choose to enjoy. Noting down takes a back seat.

I never write down any notes about the ideas that come to my mind. I was just thinking about it and then forgot. Beside, I never bring any blocknotes to write down what I think in that time. Maybe, if I make it a good habit, there is a lot of thing I can get from this activity. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hello shankarbaddi this is checkmail and often do recently note some of my ides which keep on coming again and agian into my mind.In the past i just used to keep it aside thinking that, it will be remembered to me when i want, or just let it go.Yes now a days its becoming very difficult to remember as there is a lot of going in our fast life.Mostly while doing some work, note down the idea we get into.else don't provide so much attention to other funda's ideas.

I don't jot down any idea when it comes to my mind. But I think it is a good idea. I didn't do that because I am really lazy, and I think it won't be something important. When I meet something I really need it, I will still type it in my mobile phone with a short note. I think I will change my mind and buy a little notebook soon. Because I am not good in remember things. Maybe because I drink to much (XD) Sometimes when I saw something good on the internet, I will save it down in my laptop. It is because I was a IT technician, I prefer to use computer more than paper. And also I think using paper is a kind of resourse waste.

Ya you are right we live in computer age now and thus the user of paper is becoming lesser and lesser. Thanks for sharing your views.

try to write down ideas that come to me, but unfortunately for me my best ideas come to me when I am about to fall asleep so it is hard for me to wake myself up and write it down. I usually end up just falling asleep, then I forget it totally, which I dislike because I write and I remember having gotten some good ideas as I was falling asleep and assuring myself I would remember when I woke up, but I never did.

I always write down whatever I think if I find it good. Because I often forget what I have thought before. This is the best way to keep them with me. Sometimes, Some of my idea is never come out of my mind, but it's little.

I do the same thing because sometimes I tend to forget something. I use to use a day minder and put ideas or a "to do" list, but now I am utilizing my iPhone and not having to carry around a day minder as much. It is very convenient, saves paper, and is usually faster. I bought my Mom a day minder several years ago because she was older and would sometimes forget things so she used to write things down on little pieces of paper and keep at her kitchen table but then she would misplace the "pieces of paper" because she had so many. She continued to jot down notes on the paper, she never got used to using the day minder.
