what do you think of these people?

what do you think of people who always talk about and show off things they have but you don't in fornt of your face?
one of my neighbors is very rich, he always talks about his expensive clothes and his son's expensive eye glasses. i dont like him or his son, but i cannot avoid them talking and showing off before me who only can afford a pair of glasses for 200 but fortunately not short-sighted.
one of my friend also has a problem, she is not married yet and her neighbor is often in front of her talking about her own daughter's marriage choice.one day this neighbor just said "a good girl will already married at this age and will be chased and proposed by many good young men."my friend got so angry that she never said a word to her neighbor from then. but when she and this neighbor are accidentally together this neighbor will take out her cellphone and begins to talk about the condition and demands from her many sons-in-law very vigorously.
what do you think of these people?do you agree to talk about something you have but other people may do not just in front of this particular person?

I don't like this people either.They're frustrated and all they can brag about are just material things that they got.They're actually 'empty on the inside'.
And that marriage issue...I think that marriage doesn't have to be such an important purpose in life.You have to do all that you like first,make a carreer,make some money and after that,think about a family.

i think people like this have low self esteem so i would ignore them. they obviously need material things to make them feel better about themeselves and think that showing them off brings them respect from others.
