These days lots of people including celebrities utilize cosmetic surgery to enhance their beauty. But there are many people who might have few flaws in their natural look but are satisfied with their appearance.Which beauty do you think should be more admired-- Natural beauty which may not be perfect or a perfect beauty but not natural.

honestly, i'm not sure which is better. i have a couple things that i think i should have FIXED but other people tell me to leave alone because i wouldn't be me if i changed it. but i think it would make me more confident if i did it. does that make sense? i guess what i'm trying to say is like so many other things in life it has to be a personal choice.

I will never go for cosmetic surgery. I would like it as god has created me. I don't mind going for small changes like threading eyebrows or shaving hair, but I don't go to the big extent of cosmetic surgery. If I were a celebrity I would have done that. May be. Lol. Anyway, good topic.

I wouldn't think of myself going under the surgeon knife just for beauty sake. I might not be a raving beauty but thankful to God for the non handicap in my physical look. It is too risky as you might end up deformed when something goes wrong. I will carry on with my natural look till the end.

I don't have anything against cosmetic surgery but for me, natural beauty is still the best. We do not need to desire for more than how we look, simply to please others or meet their standards of "beauty". Besides, we are all beautiful in the eyes of God because we are made according to His image and likeness. That is what matter. We are all made equal and unique. It's just that people nowadays are more conscious about how others see them. I get their point, but it's only when a person acknowledge her beauty inside and out that she'll be able to feel contentment, satisfaction, and feel good about herself. Cosmetic surgeries are only for those who truly need it like burn patients or any case similar to that, requiring treatment.

i like myself better as a natural girl. people with cosmetic surgery aren't beautiful to me, they're fake.

I can't say that I don't sometimes wish I could trade in some of my features for improved models, heheh, but if seriously given the opportunity, I wouldn't actually change anything. Flawed and less than artfully proportioned, I am what I am! Here is the way I see it. My natural appearance is created by genetics and environment. If I inherited Aunt Susan's flat chest and Uncle John's noticeable nose, well, those are part of my legacy, links to my ancestry. I would feel I were betraying that legacy a little, if I surgically altered a feature. Similarly, my environment (the places I've been and the things I've done) has shaped my appearance. Scars, freckles, toned muscle here, jiggly fat there... all are a reflection of the way I've lived and the way I'm living now. My body is a living scrapbook, and that's what I see when I look at other people's natural features! :D Sometimes people are dealt features that make their lives socially unbearable or physically uncomfortable, and in cases like this cosmetic surgery may improve their quality of life and makes total sense to me. On the other hand, the extra large implants that are so popular for women in my area make little sense to me. I don't think they enhance their beauty, and often they're so large that the women can end up looking freakishly top-heavy, in my opinion. But if they're happy, then I'm happy for them! We all express ourselves in different ways. :)

I think natrual is better myself but that is my opinion. I have seen some real pretty women in my life even though I am female but I will say this they usually had no makeup on. For me I feel makeup is okay but it ages you quick and I would like to see what someone whom wears a lot of makeup looks like when they get old. Take care and happy mylotting.

With all those women coming out, complaining about the side effects of cosmetic surgery, naaah, I do not think I would have the courage to go under a knife. Not that I am Julia Roberts alike , but come to think of it. In your desire to be pretty, you go against what God has given you. The result is lifetime regret. Be happy with what you have. Be happy that you are alive.

Hello Bebbo80 this is checkmail and do thnk that Natural beauty has advantages over the Cosmetic surgery beauty. In natural beauty there is nothing much to do with it, you just have to be more natural, eat natural supplement food, have natural oilment and healings. But in cosmetic surgery you have to go under some medications as well as surgery. The natural beauty does take time to form but is economical and everybody from rich to poor can afford it, not the same in case of cosmetic surgery.Even there are no side-effects to the natural beauty and is long lasting. In cosmetic surgery there may be some sideeffects as well may not last long enough.so overall Natural beauty is prefered by the most number of peroples in the world.

Both are ok, unless you do what MJ has done to himself.

bebbo? as in kareena bebo? hehe. I don't have flawless skin, but i don't think i want to put myself under the needle. no thanks. Cosmetic itself is acceptable but surgeries? big no-no. I won't hold it against somebody if they did go thru surgeries. if it makes them happy, then go ahead. there are some people who just shatter every time the look in the mirror. everyone deserves happiness, and if that makes them happy, then i say, go ahead. but happiness comes from the inside. there is a high chance that they might still not be happy after all that.

I doubt if they know they take the risk that once the plastic surgery fails, they might ruin the appearance or even health, will they still do it?

I believe natural beauty is more important. Everyone has unique features that make them beautiful. Whether its their eyes, nose, hair, smile ect.. These features are what makes us individual. In todays society we are bombarded with beauty ideals from the media. We see what society deems is beautiful on billboards, on posters on the subway, on television, on product packaging, in magazines.. The medias influence is unavoidable. Often we forget that these images are tampered with, airbrushed and the celebrities have stylists, gym instructors, dietitians ect.. Also I believe it is better to age gracefully it makes me cringe seeing women who have numerous plastic surgery operations. Infact most become addicted to surgery, and begin to see new flaws in their appearence after each operation. The truth is these people will never feel confident about their appearence untill they learn to accept themselves and aknowledge their own self worth. Instead of worrying about other peoples opinions.

I will for sure go for the natural beauty. Anything natural to me is the best. It is what our Creator has designed and made for us. But I do not question the integrity of those going for cosmetic surgery. If they can afford to do that, then they have the freedom. And there are a lot of them who look more beautiful after having gone through cosmetics. But I would still go for what is natural. Happy mylotting! and good luck on your journey here at mylot. Wish you all the best!
