Due to our busy schedule and hectic life, there are many 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 products coming out in the stores. Take shampoo for example, few years back, the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo was so popular. At first, it was only 2-in-1 shampoo plus conditioner then after that it was 3-in-1 shampoo plus conditioner plus treatment. It is so convenient, one bottle can settle it all. For me, I have tried using these 2-in-1/3-in-1 shampoo for a short period of time. But I switch back to my original way of using shampoo and conditioner separately. I just don't feel right using these 2-in-1/3-in-1 shampoo. What about you guys??? Do you use the 2-in-1/3-in-1 shampoo or shampoo and conditioner on separate bottle or you don't got no preference at all?

shampoos and conditioners - mostly i prefer the products of garnier as these really helped me a lot..
let it be the busy or lathergy schedule, i always use these products separately..firstly i shampoo my hair, wash it well and then i do conditioning..so i donot have preference for 2-in-1/ 3-in-1 shampoos ..

Hi hi =)) thanks for your response. I did try out those 2-in-1 shampoo few years back cos it was soooo popular then, but I just don't like the feel of my hair after using it. I got oily scalp and dried ends, so I can't use conditioner on my hair near my scalp and I must use more conditiioner for my ends. That is why 2-in-1 won't work for me.

Well, 2-in-1 is doing a good job in leaving your hair clean but doesnt have anought condition properties, so if you hair need a good hydratation every day , you better use a shampoo and a condioner separately. It is going to work better on your hair!

Still to hear about the 3 in 1, used the 2 in 1, not as affective as using them seperatly. I guess the globe is going green and saving on bottels.

Oh yes, it will definitely help to save the earth if everyone use less bottles. But like you say these 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo don't really work well cos I guess different people got different kinds of hair condition. Cheers =))

Hello cupid74, thanks for your response. Yes, indeed 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo is convenient to use and it saves time and money. I used them while travelling. But too bad, they don't work well for my hair condition. Have a great day ahead =))

Hey there, My experiences with these kinds of shampoos have been similar to yours. I have used both the 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 hair care products, thinking it saves time. But to be honest I was not very happy with the results. I somehow found that when I used the shampoo and the conditioner separately, it made my hair feel much softer.I never got the same feel when I used the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 products. So I am now using Shampoo and conditioner separately. It may be a little more time consuming, but the end results are better for me.

Hello there, I guess the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo are for people with not much hair problem or for non fussy people like man. I have oily scalp and dry ends, so these 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo don't work for me. Thanks for your response, dear =))

I use 2-in-1 all the time. I'm a guy who keeps his hair short, so I don't really see a huge difference from using separate shampoo and conditioner. My hair is clean and smells nice after I use the 2-in-1, so I can't complain really.

I just use the regular one, shampoo and conditioner, I don't particularly like the 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 because even though I use them, I still need the regular conditioner to soften the hair because my hair is just too thick and long... need conditioner very much...

Just like me, these 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo don't work well for me cos I got oily scalp and dry ends. So, I need extra rich conditioner on my ends but I don't need conditioner on my hair near my scalp. Thanks for your response, dear =))

I am a man and did not have enough long hair ( i mean short hair. hehehe..) so, i will take it practice with 3 in 1 shampoo. It's just great. Shampoo with conditioner and anti dandruff is in 1 packet. And some brand has also added cool menthol for extra refreshing. it's cool.... So, i think there are 4-in-1 shampoo. happy myLot

I have used the 2-in-1 and they are ok but I did not like it. My hair falls out alot so I have to be careful in what I use in my hair. When I use 2-in-1 I did notice that it had conditioner but it was not enough for my hair so I went back to using them sepratly. I normally put the conditionar on most of my hair exept near the rust since that also makes it to fall out more than normal.

Oh yes, totally agree with what you say. Due to my hair condition, I got oily scalp and dry ends, the 2-in-1 shampoo don't work well for me. Cos I need extra conditioner at my ends but no conditioner at my roots. Thanks for your response, dear =))

Hi, 2 years ago I was using Rejoice 2-in-1 of both shampoo and conditioner. Later I found out that it's healthier to use seperately. Shampoo has totally different role from the condotioner, therefore 2-in-1 will not be very effective. Now I'm using Dove's shampoo and Conditioner and yes, there's lots of changes in my hair! It's more healthy and shiny than before!

Me too, me too. I was also using Rejoice 2-in-1. I think that was the most popular brand during that time. Too bad it don't work well for me cos I got oily scalp and dry ends. And yes, indeed my hair condition improve greatly after I switch back to the conventional way of shampoo and conditioner. Cheers =))

i am using them separately. I have my own brand of shampoo and another brand for my conditioner. I don't think that 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoos are really effective.

I use shampoo and conditioner separately. I've ever tried to use 2-in-1 shampoo but the effect is not as good as if I use shampoo and conditioner separately. yes it needs longer time than if we use 2-in-1 but the result is different. I feel my hair softer if I use separate shampoo&conditioner. I've ever try many different brand on 2-in-1 shampoo+conditioner but still, separately give my hair the best result^^,,

well i use both. I use garnier fructis. and it's a Conditioning Shampoo so its basically 2 products in one, but i still always use the conditioner too cuz 2 in 1 just isnt enuff. n u might as well just use conditioner, it doesnt take away TAT much time from ur day.

Yes, I guess 2-in-1 shampoo just give you half the result of sahmpoo and conditioner. I think for dry ends, it would need more conditioner. Thanks for your response, dear =))

I will have to spend a bit more if I want to buy a conditioner with a bottle of shampoo. And its natural that I will take more time to bath..At fist I will have to shampoo my hairs and they apply the conditioner to it and wash it throughly after that.. So,it became convenient if I wash my hairs with a 2 in one shampoo..I always use that kind of a shampoo and I also shampoo my hairs regularly so is to keep it clean.

I believe that 2-in-1 shampoo is indeed convenient and save time and money. So, I use 2-in-1 shampoo while travelling. But I think 2-in-1 shampoo will only work for people with no major hair condition. So you are one of the lucky ones to have healthy hair and scalp. Happy myLotting =))

I use a shampoo and then a seperate conditioner for cleaning my hair. I read a lot of article on hair care stating that these 2in1 and 3in1 are not as effective as using these seperately. Another thinnk i would like to mention is that it is good to use the shampoo and the conditioner of the same brand - probably because differnt brands use differnt chemicals and using a wide variety on your hair may spoil the texture of your hair! May be! :)

Yes, I also believe that 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo will not give the best result to your hair. Cos it won't work well on hair condition like mine (oily scalp but dry ends). Cheers =))

3-in-1 shampoo and conditioner? Wow. I've never heard of that before! I've tried the 2-in-1 before but it was not good enough for me. I had to put more conditioner in my hair because it was still tangled. I enjoy putting in shampoo and the conditioner. I feel like i'm able to wash my hair down much easier without filling it up with tons of things in the conditioner. I like to put conditioner at the ends of my hair and that's it.

Oh yes, I need to put a lot of conditioner at my ends cos they are very dry but I cannot put conditioner near my scalp cos I got oily scalp. So, 2-in-1 shampoo won't work for me. Cheers =))

Yes, I know what you mean. I've tried the combined shampoo and conditioners but found that my hair didn't feel silky soft like usual. So I used seperate shampoo and conditioner and feel as if it makes my hair softer and shinier this way.

Hi kcoregon, I am glad you understand what I mean. I think is because of my hair condition. I got oily scalp but very dry ends, so I guess the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoo don't work for me. Thanks for your response, dear =))

I definately do not like 2 in 1 shampoo. It always makes my hair feel gross. I only put shampoo on my roots and conditioner only goes on the ends.

I use seperate conditioner and shampoo although I haven't given much thought to the reason why. It's just what I have been using for years, so I stick with it. Does any one know if seperate coditioners and shampoos are actually substantially better for your hair than 2-in-1 products. Your right thought 2-in-1 products are certainly more convenient and when I travel I think about using them.

I have heard my hairdresser telling me that 2-in-1 shampoo is not so good for our hair cos it is a combination of 2 things in a bottle. Beside, 2-in-1 shampoo won't work for my hair condition of oily scalp and dry ends. Cheers =))
