What do you think of private teacher?

I have a part-time job,a private teacher of a primary school student in the summer. I don't know what do people think of this kind of job.I want know what do you think. Have you ever hired a private teacher?

I have not hired a private teacher since it is expensive for me but now I do a part time job as a private teacher for kindergarten and primary students I hope I can handle them since they are not really serious in studying due to their young age
