Depnding on how it is set up, most often, yes. Schools often use not only filtering and blocking software, but also tracking software. They can also do it by simply reading browsing history, which is prevented from being deleted by setting administrative priviliges and such. Face it, your on their dime, their time.

Probably, so I would avoid using passwords that you use outside of school for other things.

If you are at school using their computer then i believe that they can trace anything on that computer that you were using and trace is back to you. I believe you have to sing in an out with your own ID and then the time you are logged in will come up and they can see what websites were logged into at certain times and then you are the one on at that time, they will know what sites you have been logged on to. Be careful what you do at school, you don't want to get into trouble and be kicked out for something silly you could have done at home.

the server or the admin has the complete record of the cookies sent and recieved!!! it is because the school normally makes a LAN IN THE COMPUTER LABS!!so the authentication of cookies is the responsibility of server!!so server can track anything from other computers

I think the schools on internet will be good if the parents and students are discipline. The parents will not do homework and tell the answer test for their children.

yes it's true. There was once the admin from the IT department gave us a brief introduction on the school's network system. After 10 minutes of boring talk, he showed us a list people (only their usernames but we could tell whose who) and what websites they had accessed in the past few months. My username was the first one on the "flash website" category and some of my friends had earn a place in the adult website section. So don't think the Internet is safe with all the privacy options settings nonsense, it's actually more dangerous than reality. Happy mylotting!!!

Hey, Yea it is actually quite true that the School can actually see where you go on while you are accessing the Internet. That is why I do not dare to actually log in on myLot or anything like that at school, I like to play it safe. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Yeah it is possible for your admin to trace your activities you have on your school computers. And it is also possible for them to view your screen while you are using your school computer.
