I am not against of tattoo or piercings, but i never like to do this for my self. Not because i am old fashioned, but i don t like for me, maybe i don t have enaugh courrage or maybe i think that a nice clean skin is more attractive. If i like something, i like a piercing with a little diamond in the bell, or a little lily on the shoulder, nothing more, is enaugh to be intersting, and some modern Do you have any tattoo or piercings? do you like and think that somebody is more attracting ?

The difference between tattooed and non-tattooed p - is that tattooed people don't give a sh*t
They like it for the same reasons that anyone likes any of the things people do for their appearance. I don't know why people make such a big deal about it. People have been doing tattoos and piercings for centuries. It's not a new thing. Some people look good with them, some don't. I don't have any tattoos as of yet, but I have many piercings and many more in the future.

Hey! I still dont get myself why people care and make a big deal out of it . There are so many reasons people get them . Eeach their own and why such a shock still to some people . More things to worry about if you ask me.

I think there a lot of people who have tattoos not necessarily just young people. Don't think it makes them more attractive they just think it makes them unique. The trick with tattoos is that you should really be committed to what you have based on your body as its going to be there forever.

i think is terrible with something in your body for a lifetime,as our clothes, though we don't wear out them, after a while,we will change them with another style,we are always feel up with something if we keep it continuously. so i suggest the people who wants to have tatoos, you had better think about that you will insist on your view all the time.

I think that a lot of people are just trying to express themselves send a message or perhaps just try and look cool to other people. I think a lot of the tattoos that people get can be really stupid for example getting your last name tattooed on your arm or something like that. I want to get tattoos by I'm trying to make them mean more then that. If all else fails though they will mean something to me.

i dont have any tattoo or piercing..i think that although they look attractive and reflect a person's interest, medically its proven that they make a person infected and if this process is not carried out from a clean and hygienic place it may result in a serious skin infection.

I don't have tattoo or piercing now a days many teenagers and young adult had it. For me I don't find it attractive it is very dirty to the skin to look at and they look like they are bad guys and scary. It is not safe because sometimes the instruments they are using is not fully sterilized. I watched a documentary about why they want to have a tattoo even if it is very painful they said it is for expression. I can't imagine myself having a tattoo and I hate people that have a tattoo in their entire body.

I know we all have different ways of self-expression. Others find themselves more attractive if they have piercings and tattoos. Some also get attracted to these people with the piercings and tattoos; while others prefer not to touch their skin and leave it unpainted. I used to be too negative with tattoos and piercings. I was even scared at people with tattoos. But life taught me a lesson- "do not judge the book by its cover". My boyfriend has a really big tattoo on his shoulder and at his back. I disliked those before, but slowly was able to accept and understand it. My boyfriend loved it. It gave him a different feeling of satisfaction, joy, etc. Later on, I was able to accept it. After all, it is not the tattoo that defines the person. My boyfriend has those tattoos which may look so ugly, yet deep inside those tattoos is a wonderful person, even more wonderful than those who do not have any tattoo at all. If these people find joy in tattoos and piercings, then I support them. If they feel they are more attractive, then I am respecting their belief. Happy mylotting!

More and more people are getting tattoos because of the media and friends. When a person see's that there favorite music artist has tattoos, then they get one. A domino effect happens when this occurs, because now the friend wants to get one. I was a tattoo apprentice and it seems more people get them, because of peer pressure from friends to get one or they seen there favorite tattoo show on t.v. But speaking for myself, I love tattoos it's a beautiful form of art

I don't like to see tattoos on a pretty woman, I think it makes her look "trashy". That is just my opinion, and it is probably a "fad" that it going around now. I had a buddy when I was in the Air Force, he had been in the Navy and after being discharged he joined the Air Force. He had a big red heart with the name of Sally right underneath it. He broke up with Sally when he returned from overseas and had to have her name taken off before he could go to bed with his new girl friend Kimberly. She had never seen the tattoo and and he was afraid the romance would end if she saw it. Now that's a terrible pickle to be in for an ex navy man! Pierced ear lobs are ok as far as I am concerned but studs on the nose, touge, and private parts would turn me off.

I am not against them either, but I do not like them for myself. Mostly because I hate needles. And, God gave me enough holes in my body I don't need anymore. I do have my ears peirced (double) but thats it. Plus, do you ever think about this? Tattoos and peircings are for life. Can you imagine what some people will look like when they are 80 years old with them??? I don't understand the fasination with decorating your body. A friend has a few, and my cousin and brother are covered with them. I think it is so unattractive on women especially. Mind you, there are people my age (43) with them, but some of my friends like me don't have them either. So it depends who you are I guess. But personally I don't like them.

I have 14 piercings.. 5 in each ear, nose, tongue, eyebrow, and belly button, and 5 tattoos.. upper back, lower back, right wrist, left ankle, and right foot. I dont think they make anyone more or less attractive I just think they add to the persons personality.

Hello, I think that person who want either a tattoo or piercing, that's their choice. I have one tattoo but no one can see it except for my b/f. I have 3 piercing per ear and one in my navel and no one knows about that either than my b/f, the navel one.The only people that have to see the tattoo and piercing is my b/f and myself.I know he doesn't care one way or the other. I got them before I was even dating him.

I don't find tattoos or piercings all that attractive. I deffinatly would not date anyone with peircings, though maybe someone with tattoos. But, I would not get a tatoo myself for any reason. Like you, I prefer my skin 'clean' I have toyed with the idea before and I just don't think it's for me. Like many other things in life it's one of those things I won't trash someone else for choosing. But, then it's just not part of my personal life choices.

I can't stand tatoos are piercings at all. Maybe I am old fashioned for a 32 year old, but I never liked them. They nasty, disgusting, awful looking garbage. Now... this does not mean that I can't stand the people. If someone has a either or both, I can talk, chat, be friends with, or whatever. That is not a problem. But they are ugly as can be. They do not make you look better in any way, shape, or form. Not in the slightest. One time I was driving through a food place, and the woman came to the window to get my money. I casually saw her and though she was a nice looking young woman. At the time she was sideways to me. Then she turned towards me, and on the side of her nose was a massive metal booger. To this day I don't remember at all what she looked like. Hair color, eyes, tall short, complexion, nothing... all I remember is the big massive metal booger. Far from making her look more beautiful, it completely distracted me from whatever she looked like. She might have been very pretty. At least I had thought so before. But I forgot all of it because I was distracted by the metal booger.

I do not mind piercings in the ears and had two myself for many years, but I do not like the nose, tongue, eyebrow, belly button and lip piercings that are popular now. I also do not like the look of those large hoops that young people use these days to stretch out their ear lobes into a massive hole. I think they will regret that when they are older! I always wanted a tattoo when I was younger, in my teens and early twenties, but I did not do it. As I got older and had kids and looked into it again, I could not find any designs that I thought I would enjoy my whole life! I am glad now that I never got one when I was young as I would have gotten something that I would not like now! They have some really nice designs out there now, I quite like minimal tattoos with lots of space around and think that some people look great with them. But I do not think I would get one now!

I have tatoos which i hate. I also have ear stretching which i love. Not because i think it makes me look good. Its just because i love the way it looks.

Personally, I can careless for tattoos! Like u, I think plain clean skin is much more attractive than marking it up with permanent writings and drawings! Do what u will, but that's just me! I don't knock anyone that does, unless it's totally overdone! I've seen people that look so disgusting with way too many, looking dirty n all! Then, I've seen very tasteful tattoos as well! Some people call it art, and some are just following the mainstream! What really gets me, is when I see unprofessional tattoos like they were really out to get a tattoo and just let anyone tear their skin up!! WOW, just stay simple, it looks much better, in my opinion Taripre$

I feel a beautiful tattoo is a work of art. There are definetly some vulgar and distasteful ones, yes. But; there are some very creative and beautifully executed one's as well. Some tatoos are rememberance, some are like a secret handshake for a selected group of people (like a group of servicemen), a way for them to always be connected and/or identified. I don't however find something overdone as a piece of art. I am 60 yrs old and on my 61 birthday I plan to have a portrait of a gypsywoman's bust (with bandana and earrings) done. Under the head/but is a banner reading "TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE" Gupsywoman I designed it myself and in a way it's me and my mom. She was always telling me that and it's always helped to guide me ( along with her many other "truths" LOL). It will only be about 3" including spacing.

First of all I dont think it is good to label all YOUNG PEOPLE. I am young myself and have no piercings or tattoos at all. It isn't about making them more attractive, it is just a way to express themselves. It shows their personality I think. Tattoos and piercings are expression of self. some people get meaningful tats and others get skulls and disgusting meaningless things on their body. I truly believe it is a type of degredation myself. Your body is a temple and should be treated that way.

I don't really like tattoos and piercings. I don't mind seeing someone else with it, but I wouldn't do it for myself. To me a piercing is just another hole anywhere at my body and I don't need any more holes. I have enough already ;-) Tattoos is basically like a random unnecessary thing to me. If I were crazy enough I think I wouldn't mind doing it, but there is no need to. I'm fine the way I am.
