Shamwow! , is it really something of innovation?

Yes, I'm sure a lot of you have seen the commercial on TV and a lot of spoofs on the internet of this guy named Vince, whose is advertising this product that is the 'thing that will replace paper towels'. I find the commercial really funny, as it says we spend about $20 on paper towels every week! I barely spend more than 5$ on all paper a month! I feel this is just another scam and it isn't as amazing in the commercial where they soak a carpet in coke, and then using the Shamwow!, it cleans it up in no time, with no stains! As always the commercial deceive you even more nearing the end of commercial by calling if you call in this time period, say 20 minutes, they will throw in another of the same product, or another useless product they made. Has anyone ever bought a Shamwow, and do you think it is worth it to buy one?

How could you even expect it to work with the word "sham" right in the title. If you watch the infomercial, they use bad editing to make it look like the shamwow cleans up a big puddle of liquid. But, if you look close it's all cleaned up before he even puts the thing down. I heard from someone who bought them, that they actually work worse than paper towels.

Yes, I heard that too on lots of comments of Youtube. I never have bought anything on T.V as I just think it is all a scam. All my purchases are made from retailers that I trust, so I get peace of mind and a guarantee that I can return it and get a full refund,

I did buy them and I'm not at all "wow" by them. I still buy paper towels. They are surely overrated. I have decided though never to buy anything from these tv commericals again. They are a rip off. There is always a catch. For instance they say call now and we will send you two all you have to do is pay for shipping and handling. No I only want one why do I want two. They are not going to get me again.

I use a lot of paper towel a week between 3-5. I usually buy them at the dollar store. So, I spend about 12-20 dollars a month. I live with my mom and three dogs. So there's a lot of messes. I never bought one, but I've seen a lot of people dislike or say it doesn't work as well as the commerical say. Here's one og the links I found when I was deciding whether to buy it or not. http://www.popularmechanics.com/blogs/technology_news/4294482.html I decided not to.
