To find a mate:Is appearance the most important factor you are concerned with?

There is an old saying which goes as 'Don't judge a man by his looks'.However,when looking for a mate,some people are very likely to judge others by their looks. I have always hear that some guy is not satisfied with his partner in the first date they meet.And he would complain as 'the girl doesn't look good' or 'the girl's appearance is not the style that I favor' etc.
So what is your opinion on this phenomenon? Is it right to take one's appearance as the most important factor to consider? I would like to hear what you think about this.

Not really. I actually love older, bald men. Tattoos and goatees a plus!! =) But no, not the most important, I like a good personality. And I've found that when maybe there is someone that I'm not completely attracted to, it is usually their personality that makes me more attracted.

I agree with you to some degree.In my opinion,one's personality really matters besides one's appearance,career or interests etc.

It's important but it's not the most important thing.
I agree with the "Don't judge a man by his looks". But apprearance matters to me.

I have to say that appearance matters more or less to us.However,it definitely should't be the most important thing to consider.

I used to go for looks all of the time but I also included their personality also. Those kinds of people are hard to find. I settled for personality only but my husband is a very nice looking man as he has grown older and cleaned up.

it is one of the factor but it's not very important, that's my opinion.. first impression for me is the physical things but as time goes by you need to know more about that person and if happens that he has a bad attitude, of course you need to change gear, lol..!! what's the use of the physical things but the attitude is very bad..!!
