This month was really expensive it was 180 and normally it would be 80 to 100 dollars. I did not know what was going on I wanted to call the water company but today is Sunday. I have been trying to be greener and I am trying to limit the water, electricity and gas use. So far it was working but when I saw the bill I was surprised and I when outside to walk around the house to see if there was a leek. To my surprise there was and thanks to that leek this month there was more than 10 thousand gallons of water wasted. And last month it was 2 thousand gallons of water wasted more than what we normally use.
Now we have to pay more than 1 hundred dollars this month for the water that was lost in the big leek. And the leek is under the back house I don’t know how it might get fixed and how much it is going to take to fix it.

My bill was 87.00 dollars. $180.00 is crazy and I feel for you. To find out you had a leak that way, is hard to take. I'm the same as you in I try to limit use of everything in my house as much has possible. In fact I love when it rains so I don't have too water my yard. When fixing the leak shop around first because I had a leak outside it was a pinhole which took all of 10 minutes to fix. I was charged 251.00. When I called them to find out how much would it be to disconnect the dryer he was charging 150.00. So I shopped around because I thought that was a ridicuous amount. When I had my dryer disconnected by another plumber he charged only $83.00. I asked him how much would have charged for the pinhole leak he said about the same $83.00 so I was definitely taken by the earlier plumber. Good Luck to you.

I'm so sorry that you can't fix it now. If you still have a little bit of a leak can you put a bucket under it and use that to water your plants in the house if you have any. Just so is not going to waste. Thank you for the best response mark and good luck to you and your husband.

I have no idea how much next month’s bill is going to be since the leak has not got fixed. At the moment we don’t have the money to fix it so what my husband did is to cut the pipe and bent it and the leak got smaller. Today he bent it a little bit more so the leak got even smaller but it is still there. I don’t know if they have to break the tile or the wall but whatever it is it has to wait.

Well, due to my current living situation, I didn't have to pay anything for water. Our landlord pays for our water and we just pay electric, TV, net that kind of thing. I'm very thankful for that because I know that water can get rather expensive.

It those get expensive especially since we have a water cooler in the house and we have trees and plans to water and we are four in our family and with some people staying over one or two weeks every other month. We have to pay for water, electricity and gas well we have to pay for everything that we need.

We don't pay anything based on where we live. Not one single dime. Problem though is that the water pressure isn't that great in some places.

Ohh, it not good to pay for something that not our fault. i hope you able to fix the leak. As at my place, I don't have to pay for water as everything is pay by the employee. So, we can used the water as much as we can, moreover the water that we used is from waterfall nearby. But currently the weather is too hot and I always wash my hand to feel cold and when I'm taking bath, I used a lot of water, to make me feel cold.

That sounds amazing it sound like you live in a really nice place. I live in the desert in Arizona and there is no natural water near my house. And yes I was really mad about having to pay for something that we did not use and especially if since I am trying to save.

That is amazing 50 dollars a month for a water bill. I wish I had to pay just 50 a month it would actually be better than paying from 80 to 100 dollars in a regular month.

I am lucky because my country helps all households which i can use the water free for my house use the water not over 30 units.Happy Thailand.
