Do you stand up while singing your national anthem..?

I am from the United States, and I definately do stand up. I think it is disrespectful not to. I am even slightly offended if I see someone not standing up. I wonder if they are not from our country or are just being disrespectful. I also think it is a part of honoring all of those who fought to make our country free.
