My country is the best. Why risk your freedom and family warmth for little extra wealth.

Job opportunities here in the Philippines is not that abundant and the salary here can't support a family. Now a days many Filipinos go abroad to find better future for their family. The salary their is much bigger you can give your family here a better life. It also have sacrifices because you are homesick with your family and you can't see your family for a long time. For me it is better to work abroad and retire here in the Philippines after. There's no place like home but if you are experiencing hardship with your life in your country I migrating abroad is a good option. I like also to go abroad if only have an job opportunity I will.

Yes you are right, if the family needs are bigger and you don't get that much in your country, then one has to venture out. Best of luck.

I am currently doing my own business in my own country. If there are chances, then I would appreciate some business trips abroad which can bring me some good fortune. But I don't like to settle in another country for a long time job.Being in the home country and that too in the home town is great,I come to know from most of my friends who are abroad.Even they are earning high, they long to be like me.So,I love to be here.Cheers!

I don't have a skill that is that marketable that I would be able to go abroad and make such a living. I picked a career that does not exist for our area and the college has admitted they have had degrees that are meaningless and I believe mine is one. Plus if my guidance councilor had any brains she would of talked me out of it. But that is 12yrs later hindsigh wich is always 20/20

I definitely enjoyed going abroad for two years of my life to work. I think I can make both work well with me. It's all about finding friends, which is easier in my country, though possible outside.

If I can find a decent job that can support my needs and expenses, I'd rather stay here at my country than to go abroad for a greener pasture job. I cannot easily give up my lifestyle here.. and so as my habits and foods..

I love to stay in my country...I like everything here...we can move out here and and there is no wild climate here...we have good neighbours around...lot of hill stations to realx...well equipped hospitals even foreigners come here to cure their illness...good education...above all my parents will be around and I can go visit them anytime I like.. Just for money I can't sacrifice all this... Nothing more I need and nothing better I can get elsewhere....I love my India.. :-)

Hi sathish2018! It depends on situations. I would most likely go abroad for a job that I love. I would most likely go abroad for a job that is high paying. If the job I like is only available abroad and not in my country, I would probably consider going abroad.

I like to stay in my country a do a job as my parents are there over here to support me.Also i can take my relatives help if i am in trouble.IF i go abroad i need to adjust with the people there, the taste of the food may not suit me.I will be getting money but what is it worth if i have to site lonely in a hotel. Also the cost to go abroad is more.I would plan to go holidays abroad if i get time.

It is much better to stay in your own country if you have regular job. Your lucky because you were working in a government. You recieved the benefits from the government. But those who don't have regular job or jobless in their own country and they have family. Most of them think to work in abroad because they know that have regular job there. Both the father and his family will sacrifies because of their children wellfare. Or in some cases is because of their sick parents. Yes its true when you work in abroad specially those who work as domestic helper they have less freedom or some cases no freedom at all or dayoff. Some of the employer treat them as slave so thats why we have so many cases of maltreating by employer. But those who work in company they were opportunate becoz the company follows what stated on their contract. But if their family do not save the earnings of their beloved whos working in abroad, there is no changes from the life they left and the life when they come home. So take good care of the job you have now. Bcoz your lucky that you have a lot of freedom to do things after your working hours.... have a nice day....

hi,sathish2018. I also prefer to stay in my country for my job. I always feel safe in my country. I know well about my country,so if i go abroad, i will confront a totally different culture. It's possible that i can't adapt to it. But i like to go abroad for travel. I am curious about foreign countries.

It's an interesting question. In my opinion, I will go abroad for another job if I have a good opportunity, especially when you are young. Go to different countries, to see different places, to talk with different people, to touch different culture. There is an old saying in China goes like this, 'read 10,000 books and travel 10,000 miles". Travelling can open our mind, and working in different countries will be colorful pictures in our life books. But, of course, "east and west, home is best". So I agree that go abroad for another job temporarily, and then, please back home, because our family and friends there, just like you said.

My dream is that one day i could have a chance to study abroad. Maybe it is a dream forever or maybe not. I think that no matter study or work abroad, the experience will make your life a little different.

I don't know how it is in your country, but I would very much like to go abroad again. I already had spent two years in China and for me I felt a lot freer than I ever did in America. I was able to get paid well and I was working a lot fewer hours. I didn't get enough money to survive here when I left last year and if I weren't in school right now, I might go back. Some people here say they would never give up there high paying jobs for something like teaching English in China, but for me, I would definitely do it again. It gives you a chance to see how things are really done elsewhere and you are able to get a feel for the world. It also helps you to appreciate home more when you go back or it opens your eyes to the problems that exist at home so that you better understand the problems.

i only like to travel for leisure and fun, to see a new area and experience something different in my break. but i would rather work in my own country where i am used to area and how everything works in the country. it is sometimes hard to adapt in a different country and in a different culture, and even harder if you dont speak the language.

For me I prefer to stay in my country, for jobs. But if there is a chance to go abroad for a jobs, why not accepted it. Jobs abroad is getting more earnings compare my country. We can earn triple over our salary... Have a great day!

I have worked in neighbouring country of where I am living, and if it's not for my mum, I would have continue working there.. I prefer to work abroad than in my own country. This could just cause by the slow motion of my countrymen at times, which delay my working pace too! And also, I think I could save more while working abroad than in my own country.. Happy MyLotting

I will go abroad if i dont find fulfillment primarily on my job. As long as i am fulfilled in my country why go abroad? The lure for abroad basically is for pleasure for me (Tourism or Vacation).
